'Grillz' won't touch, or even come close to Mariah next week, she's miles ahead of everybody else at the moment in airplay and Downloads, she's gonna be No.1 for at least the next 4 weeks, the only song that is begining to show promise in airplay and downloads in 'Check on it'. it's been rising dramatically in both mediums so it's the only song that could (but will most likely fall 'just' short) of the No.1 spot

Downloads for "Grillz" are very high, and already it has taken over "DFAU" on CHR/Rythmic and is advancing quickly on Urban. Check On It is another threat as well.

I don't think "Check On It" is that much of a threat to Mariah as much as "Grillz" is, because it's already peaked in airplay. Z-100 added it back in October, so now it has to rely completely on downloads to increase its rating.

Check On It hasn't peaked in airplay; it's gaining spins like mad on CHR/Pop (+700), CHR/Rythmic (+400) and Urban (+150).

The Hot 100 still has not been released yet, and it's already almost 1:00 p.m. (EST) on Thursday.
This has never happened before (that it's taken so long).

GREAT moves for Ashlee, Weezer, FOB, Natasha, Mary J Blige, and great that Relient K debuts!! ;D
Also, it seems older songs like "Wake Me Up When September Ends," "Boyfriend," "Don't Cha," "We Belong Together," "Feel Good Inc.," "Beverly Hills," "Sugar, We're Goin' Down," and "Photograph" are gaining both on the Hot 100 and on iTunes, because a large number of people probably recieved iPods for Christmas and are loading them up and buying songs tha they like. On the iTunes Top 100, old songs like "One, Two Step," "Rich Girl," "Boulevard of Broken Dreams," and "Breakaway" have re-entered the Top 100, and in general, older songs are resurging on the chart, while newer ones like "Heard Em Say," "Luxurious" and "Don't Forget About Us" are falling. I just thought this was interesting...
