With four forthcoming films in various stages of production, you might wonder how Hilary Duff even has time for a musical career. But that career is about to kick into high gear: Duff just announced a brace of summer tour dates to fill in the time when she's not working on the follow-up to her 2003 album, Metamorphosis, which is due in the fall.
Duff will return to the concert stage for three spring shows in California. These include a date on May 15 at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, as part of the KIIS-FM festival Wango Tango, and a May 16 charity show at the House of Blues in West Hollywood. Tickets for the benefit will be auctioned online and proceeds will go to Kids With a Cause, which helps disadvantaged youths by enhancing their self-esteem and confidence.
After the shows, Duff plans to complete her new album and work on some film projects for two months. Then she'll road-test some of the new songs on her summer tour.
Hillary Duff's spring and summer U.S. tour dates, according to her publicist: 5/14 - Chula Vista, CA @ Coors Amphitheatre 5/15 - Pasadena, CA @ Rose Bowl/KIIS FM' Wango Tango 5/16 - West Hollywood, CA @ House of Blues 7/20 - Worcester, MA @ Centrum Center 7/21 - Philadelphia, PA @ Wachovia Center 7/24 - Hershey, PA @ Giant Center 7/25 - East Rutherford, NJ @ Continental Airlines Arena 7/26 - Uniondale, NY @ Nassau Coliseum 7/27 - Pittsburgh, PA @ Petersen Events Center 7/30 - Rosemont, IL @ Allstate Arena 7/31 - Milwaukee, WI @ Bradley Center 8/1 - Minneapolis, MN @ Target Center 8/3 - St. Charles, MO @ Family Arena

I agree. She tries too hard too... she's trying to be viewed as a "hard working gal".. personally, i ain't buyin' into any of it... all she's working for is added zero's to her already large bank account...

If Hilary Duff wants to be the every-woman, let her. She's obviously enjoying what she's doing, what, with her movie career, clothing line, album...
I'm all for it. I think that she's a good role model for young girls. The fact that at her age, she's able to accomplish as much as she has already, and remain semi-grounded (as compared to Lindsay Lohan and her 4 night parties) is amazing.
Bravo, Hilary Duff.
