We're not likely to see any new entries in the top 10 for a couple weeks yet, but there should be some turnaround in the top 5, as Britney is up to #6 and could knock Maroon 5 out of the top 5 by the end of the week. Evanescence could go recurrent if Petey Pablo and Usher pass them. Finger Eleven actually made the top 40 and D12 looks like they'll make it too, and possibly Jay-Z if he keeps gaining at the same pace. Hilary and Haylie Duff have entered the top 50. Big gainers below the top 50 include Shifty, Juvenile, Counting Crows, and Black Eyed Peas.

I thought Avril's new track would have started picking up steam already... I guess not yet...

I thought Avril's new track would have started picking up steam already... I guess not yet... She just went for adds, so I'd expect her gains to greatly increase through the week.

Everytime is ready to displace This Love from the top 5! ;D And with Roses slowing down and Usher falling, Jojo looks like she will climb to #7 at least this week. Wow, I never thought that song would (a) have the gains it has now and (b) make a run to peak int he top 5 and be a #1 contender!
Meanwhile, as of this morning, Hoobastank just crossed the coveted 9000 spin mark on the Mediabase update! Considering the panel has lost about 5-8 reporters since Hey Ya! crossed the 9000 mark, this is a tremendous feat for the song! However, since the spread between #1 and #30 is not nearly 7500 spins, this does show that pop stations are really overplaying a lot of the top songs, hurting potential great hits like The Calling from even having a shot on radio.
Wow, Hilary and Haylie Duff are really moving slowly. I thought on the success of Come Clean and So Yesterday this song would have already been top 40. It's not looking too good for the sisters here.
And one shocker to me - the Beastie Boys are almost gaining over 200 spins and are making a run for N&A this week! Wow!

Hilary Duff was clean, good, pop music that had the ability to do well.
"Our Lips Are Sealed" is EXTREME pop. I'm not surprised it's not doing as well.

Mediabase screwed up again; Kimberley Locke should've gone recurrent. No idea who the true #50 should be.
