It's hard to believe that I'll only post two more charts before the Year End feature happens! So that you know in advance, my year end list will likely be posted sometime on the weekend of December 28...
In the meantime, there's still lots of activity taking place. Darren Hayes' "Me Myself And (I)" holds handily at #1 for a second chart, and songs 2 through 4 remain the same, with "You Can't Stop The Beat" from 'Hairspray" moving up to #5. Songs by Armand Van Helden and Major Maker move into the Top 10, while the fastest riser is Matt White's extremely cheerful "Best Days".
On this chart there are 5 debuts that are sure to make you move, and you can expect a similar number in two weeks.
So while this commentary is brief, you can view the full chart using the link in my signature, and post any comments, questions, etc. here. Enjoy!
NEW TO THE CHART
CALABRIA Enur f/ Natasja
Mims has also got himself in the picture on a redux of this DJ Enur song which is starting to pick up airplay - and it's not bad either! Sad story behind the song - Danish rapper Natasja Saad passed away in a car accident in Jamaica in June.
GOOD LIFE Kanye West f/ T-Pain
I like the positive message and inspirational feeling behind this song - and that it's not dominated by T-Pain (Kanye wouldn't let that happen, I'm sure!).
KISS KISS Chris Brown f/ T-Pain
I'm not sure how far this will go on the chart, but a #21 debut is nothing to spit at - this song is just too catchy despite an overuse of the vocodorized vocals.
LET ME THINK ABOUT IT Ida Corr vs. Fedde Le Grand
This is one of those dance jams that works just because...
OVERPOWERED (Seamus Haji remix) Rόisín Murphy
An excellent remix meant for dancing the night away... improves immensely on the single edit.
