Wow Jason MRaz proves to still be a popular song. He made number 2 on my chart in early 2007 but the song gained popularity at different tims around the globe. Great to see Mariah at 3 and 9, and also Alicia Keys at 36. Hope she can go up!

When You Were Young was a hot song, that song was number one for three weeks on my charts, one of four songs to reach number one (Mr Brightside, All These Things That I've Done and Read My Mind also reached number one).
Also Kelly Clarkson was a huge hit on my chart/ Nice chart bud...

Chart Commentary:
Leona Lewis's Happy jumps seven places to number one this week, gaining her third weekly number one single. Bleeding Love was number one for five weeks at the end of 2007, Better in Time was number one for one week in mid-2008. The track is taken from Leona's forthcoming album 'Echo'. Her sudden leap to number one can be attributed to the music video, which I only saw this week. It's REALLY good IMO. Other charting tracks by Leona include Forgive Me (#2), Run (#6), Footprints in the Sand (#17), Whatever it takes (#27) and I Will Be (#28).
The highest debut this week goes to Rihanna's 'Russian Roulette' taken from her forthcoming album 'Rated R'. Rihanna is no stranger to the chart. She has had a total of seven number ones (There's A Thug In My Life, SOS, Unfaithful, Umbrella, Don't Stop The Music, Take A Bow and Disturbia) and several other top ten hits. She vies for one of the top artists of the decade, despite releasing her first single in 2005. Her fourth studio album is due to be released next month, I'm really looking forward to it.
Other debuts into the chart include Rise Against, the fourth charting track from their album 'Appeal To Reason'. 'Hero of War' was the highest charting single from the album peaking at number 5 three months ago. Cheryl Cole makes her first solo debut to the chart at number 69. The track is number one in the United Kingdom this week, and looks set to make a big jump next week. Eskimo Joe debut at number 70, their second charting single from Inshalla. They have reached number one twice, with Black Fingernails Red Wine and Foreign Land.
Other tracks to debut on the chart include 'Two is better than one', 'Forever', 'Meet Me On The Equinox', 'Automatic' and 'Chasing Pirates'.
The biggest jump of the week goes to Kris Allen's 'Live Like We're Dying'. The track debuted at number 81 last week and leaps to number 32 this week. Kris Allen, the most recent US Idol, makes his debut to the charts with this single. His first track, No Boundaries, just missed out on a spot in the top 100 earlier in the year. His runner-up Adam Lambert, looks set to debut with his new track next week ... will have to see what happens.
Finally the biggest drop this week goes to Dizzee Rascal's 'Holiday'. Dizzee's singles have been a mixed bag in terms of chart positions. Breaking the top 20 once with 'Dance Wiv Me' (#13), he has yet to make a strong impact on the charts. Holiday slips from number 52 to number 86 this week ...
Hopefully by next week I can figure out how to make a table so it makes it a little bit easier to read!

Nice Chart!
Yes Mariah Carey is going up - love that track. A lot of songs on your chart that I need to check out (Sarah McLachlan, REgina Spektor, Adele etc.) I like a lot of the songs there, Leona Lewis, Onerepublic, Lady GaGa, La Roux, Jason DeRulo.
