I was very intrigued to see Casey Stratton's song "House Of Jupiter" in the Top 5 of Billboard's Club Play chart recently as well as on RobM88's personal chart. I checked out that song and a couple others, but the one I liked best is this intense, almost tribal mix of "Blood" from his debut CD Standing At The Edge.
From what I understand the CD has been released for a year now and is just starting to breakout. Stratton has a high alto voice and is a classically trained pianist. In fact, the album was released by Sony Classical, but his songs are taking on new life in clubs due to the terrific remixes which are highly complimentary to the emotional content of the songs. This song will appeal to those who like Delerium, Beth Orton, Tiesto, etc.
