CHART NOTES
Alternative country music artist Sarah Jarosz climbs up a notch to take the #1 spot on the Top 20 this week. I love her song "Runaway Train," even though it has not connected with the mainstream. It was also my #1 country for a couple of weeks on the Country 5 + 5. Check out the live studio video of the hit at the top of this posting.
Three songs make their chart debut.
At #18 we find Hozier with his hit "Too Sweet." The track is from the Unheard EP. There's no official video yet.
Fanny Lumsden returns to the chart with "Great Divide" at #19 off her Hey Dawn album. It's another good Australian country-rock song.
Finally at #20 is Uuhai makes their first appearance with their track "Khar Kulz." I think they're from Mongolia, but I am not sure. Uuhai use some traditional instruments mixed with guitar, bass and drums on their songs.
The Current Top 20 is on Spotify as usual. Subscribe today.
