Ladies and gentlemen... I have your week 2 results!
Before I start the results show, there are three performers who were kind enough to perform for us tonight. First, I have Mariah Carey, an artist who Julian just saw in the front row at her Christmas show in Detroit, performing her inescapable Christmas classic, “All I Want For Christmas Is You”!
A few days after Julian saw Mariah, Unkie got to see Queens Of The Stone Age. Here they are performing their iconic hit from 2002, “Go With The Flow!”
And finally, Julian plans on seeing Adele at her Vegas show in March. Here is her performance of “Easy On Me”.
... Oh, I guess she won’t be performing tonight after all. Given her awful track record with touring, is this a surprise? Let’s be real. Anyway, thanks to Mariah Carey and Queens Of The Stone Age for those lovely performances, and thanks to Adele for… ummmm fake crying I guess? And now I have your week 2 results!
The first three people I’d like to bring to the stage are FreakyFlyBry, macprohawaii, and Unkie.
FreakyFlyBry, you submitted Song 2, "Cynical" by Blink-182. Unkie, you submitted Song 3, "Rebel Black" by Angelic Milk, which received a first place ranking from yours truly. macprohawaii, you submitted Song 7, "Sweeter" by Cannons. Two of you are safe, and one of you is in this week’s bottom three. The first person in the bottom three tonight is... FreakyFlyBry. Unkie and macprohawaii, both of you are safe.
Next I want to bring to the stage Julian and Feelin' X. Julian, you submitted Song 5, "Stanley" by Jazmine Sullivan, which received two first place rankings. Joel, you submitted Song 6, “Only Just A Call Away” by the Struts. One of you is safe, the other will be joining FreakyFlyBry in the bottom three. Julian, I’m sorry, but... you’re going to have to think long and hard about what to submit next week, because you are safe! Feelin' X, I’m sorry, but you are in the bottom three this week.
This just leaves the married couple. Pipa, you submitted Song 1, “Fashion And Fame” by the Angels, which received one first place ranking. And I submitted song 4, “Easier To Run” by Linkin Park, which received three first place rankings and was the top song this week! And I just have one thing to say to all of you:
Pipa, I’m sorry, but you are in the bottom three this week.
I'd like all of you - including FreakyFlyBry, Feelin' X, and Pipa - to please submit your week 2 competition song by Sunday, December 17th at 11:59PM EST, and I will also need new elimination songs from the people in the bottom three as well.
Here are this week's elimination songs. Please vote for your favorite by Sunday, December 17th at 11:59PM EST.
