TEENAGE WRIST EASILY REMAIN AT #1 WITH "DARK SKY"
Helped by the release of their third studio album Still Love, Teenage Wrist's 14th Burner 50 #1 "Dark Sky" easily remains at #1 for a second week. The song holds on with their previous single and 13th #1, "Still Love", rebounding 3-2 to give them clear top 2 domination with the full week impact of the album in effect. The band also has the week's highest debut at #19 with the album's latest single "Digital Self".
Meanwhile, Citizen is aiming to disrupt the Wrist's domination as they did two years ago in a nearly half-year duopoly as "If You're Lonely" advances 5-3. Wrist frontman Marshall Gallagher and ex-Wrist frontman Kamtin Mohager's band Heavenward lands another top 10 hit with "Tangerine" up 15-9 in its third week, while its dominant "Gasoline" appears to finally be winding down with a 4-5 dip. Queens Of The Stone Age also cracks the top 10 with "Paper Machete", becoming their third to get there with a 12-10 jump.
Besides the Wrist, Pinkshift also has a big debut with "Home" at #24. "Home" will appear on the band's three-song EP Suraksha, which will also feature their recent #3-peaker "To Me".
