This was Spain's Eurovision entry in 1973, which became a hit the following year in the US, reaching #9 on the Hot 100 and #14 on R&R.
I like this, one of my favourite songs in Spanish and a nice enough Eurovision entry. Interestingly enough, it seems the English version (Touch The Wind) isn't a translation and completely different meaning from the original.

A big hit in Toronto when I was a teenager, reaching #2 on the CHUM chart.

Oh, back when people didn't shield behind the "I don't know what they're saying", to dislike a song.
I remember this song played by my parents when I was growing up.

I used to have the 45 rpm single on Tara Records - "Eres Tu" on the A side and "Touch the Wind" on the B side. To me both were the same except one being in Spanish and the other in English. I bought this when the song was brand new on the charts back in 1974. Good song. Truly a one hit wonder in so far as top 40 hits go.
