Before we find out who made the top 100, let's check out the best of the rest, those who just missed out and those who suffer from split-year syndrome. 100. Andy Grammer - Good Man (First Love)
Andy Grammer's ode to his daughters only reached #22 on the chart, but lasted for 23 weeks.
99. Glass Animals - Heat Waves
While overplay has done this song in for me, this is a left over from 2021 (and 2020). Altogether it spent 41 weeks on my chart and reached #4 last year.
98. Nicki French - Last Dance
Yes, the Eurodance act who scored a huge hit in 1995 with her cover of "Total Eclipse of the Heart" made a comeback on my chart, this time taking on another classic, this time from Donna Summer. The song got to #19 in July.
97. Robbie Williams - Eternity (XXV)
Robbie Williams capped his 25th anniversary as a silo singer with his new album XXV featuring orchestral versions of past hits, giving me ample opportunity to justify charting songs from his catalog. "Eternity" was originally released in 2001, and the new version was a top 10 on my chart.
96. The Weeknd - Die For You
A big trend in 2022 was old songs becoming new again. "Die For You" was originally released on The Weeknd's "Starboy" album but going viral gave it new life. The song is currently in my top 10.
95. OneRepublic - West Coast
OneRepublic had a good year on the charts and mine was no exception. "West Coast" made it to #17 in July.
94. Kylie Minogue & Jessie Ware - Kiss of Life
A new track from Kylie's re-released "Disco" album late last year. The song peaked at #16 on my chart in February.
93. Colton Dixon - Build A Boat
The Idol alum who topped my chart for 2013 scored his first #1 on the Christian chart with this song. For me, the song made it to #10.
92. Sam Smith & Kim Petras - Unholy
Probably one of the more polarizing hits of the year. I happened to like it, going to #6 on my chart but it's already on its way down.
91. Harry Styles - Late Night Talking
Sadly, Harry's only appearance in the top 100. THe song did spend 24 weeks on my chart, but only reached a #22 peak.

90. Post Malone & The Weeknd - One Right Now
Still not sold on Post Malone but he can release something decent here and there. He and The Weeknd team up on this one which reached #13 on my chart.
89. Michael J Woodard - Hope Full
A Spotify recommendation for me turned into a decent sized hit on my chart. The song only peaked at #21 but stayed in the top 100 for 8 months. Woodard is a top 5 Idol contestant from 2018.
88. Charli XCX f/Rina Sawayama - Beg For You
After being pretty quiet on my chart for some time, Charli XCX returned with a song that interpolates the September hit "Cry for You." The song got to #23 on my chart.
87. John K - A Lot
John K has had several hits on my chart the past few years and "A Lot" while also a minor Hot AC hit, reached #14 here.
86. Katy Perry - All You Need Is Love
Katy's charity single, a cover of the Beatles' classic, was a split-year victim as it started the year at it's #3 peak.
85. Dove Cameron - Boyfriend
This quickly got to #7 on my chart, but I ended up getting tired of it pretty quick which resulted in its lower year-end position.
84. Jamie Miller - Last Call
UK "The Voice" finalist Jamie Miller continued his hit streak in 2022. "Last Call" made it to #9 but too many singles at once hurt this song's chances for a better run.
83. Gavin DeGraw - Greatest off All Time
Gavin Degraw came back in 2022 releasing his first album in 6 years. While "Greatest of all Time" isn't exactly the GOAT, it did reach #18 for me.
82. Dermont Kennedy - Something to Someone
Irish singer-songwriter Dermont Kennedy continued to do well this year with another song that was also a minor Hot AC hit. This was the 2nd single off his new album "Sonder." The song reached #16 for me.
81. Darren Criss - For a Night Like This
Former Glee star and GOlden Globe winner Darren Criss finally scored a breakout post-Glee hit this year with the party anthem "For a Night Like This." The song peaked at #4 in January, another split-year victim.

80. Sam Feldt & Rita Ora - Follow Me
Rita Ora is the vocalist for this Sam Feldt hit which reached #13 on my chart. And in case a certain someone makes a cameo here, not an Uncle Kracker remake.
79. Lewis Capaldi - Forget Me
2020's year-end chart topper returns with a song that is currently #2 on my chart. On which year-end will this end up higher?
78. Jennifer Lopez - On My Way (Marry Me)
The main song from JLo's film "Marry Me" brought her back to my chart. The song reached #14 for me.
77. Lauv - All 4 Nothing (I'm So In Love)
I thought this would be bigger for him, but it stalled at #15 here. Still enjoy it though.
76. Seth Power - Going Somewhere
Another Hot AC hit that did well for me. Got to #15 on my weekly but stayed on the chart for almost 7 months.
75. Snoh Aalegra - In Your Eyes
Some will probably call this a surprising hit for me. One of Prince's last proteges before his passing scored a top 5 on the Urban AC chart with "In Your Eyes." On my chart it got to #18.
74. Kygo & DNCE - Dancing Feet
While DNCE has taken a back seat while the Jonas Brothers reclaimed their throne, Joe went back to his other band, and collab'd with Kygo on this quick hoit. It got to #6 on my chart, but was gone after only 17 weeks.
73. Imagine Dragons - Enemy
Imagine Dragons made a comeback this year, much to the dismay of all their haters. Enemy was quite enjoyable for awhile, but overplay kinda hurt this for me, but still managed a #11 peak.
72. Fitz & The Tantrums - Sway
One of several acts I saw live this year, Fitz got back with his tantrums and "swayed" us with this summer jam. The song reached #14 on my chart.
71. Swedish House Mafia f/The Weeknd - Moth to a Flame
Swedosh House Mafia made a surprising comeback this year. While sad this did not sample "That's The Way Love Goes" I was still impressed enough with the collab that it reached #9 for me.

70. The Wanted - Gold Forever (For Tom)
The surviving members of The Wanted re-recorded their 2012 single "GOld Forever" in memory of Tom Parker who passed away from brain cancer in March. The new version reached #20 on my chart.
69. Elvis Presley - Don't Fly Now (Pnau Remix)
Last year Pnau struck gold bringing Elton John back to the mainstream charts with "Cold Heart." This year he tries again with the king, Elvis Presley interpolating his hits "Suspicious Minds" and "Any Day Now," and using it in the Elvis biopic. The new track got to #11 on my chart,. becoming Elvis' first top 20 since the JXL remix of "A Little Less Conversation" peaked at #17 back in 2002.
68. LeAnn Rimes - Uninvited
LeAnn Rimes' cover of Alanis Morissette's 1998 hit was remixed by Dave Aude and is currently sitting at #5 on my weekly.
67. Train - AM Gold
The bang that separates Matt & I came back this year and this was the title track from their new album. I also got to see them along with Jewel back in June. The song reached #16 on the weekly.
66. Shania Twain - Not Just A Girl
The lead track from Shania's 2nd Greatest Hits album reached #8 on my chart, becoming her first top 10 since "Life's About to Get Good" reached #2 in 2017.
65. John Mayer - Wild Blue
The 3rd (or 6th single depending how you see it) single from John's 80s inspired "Sob Rock" album. The song reached #14 on my chart but remained on for 25 weeks.
64. Benson Boone - Ghost Town
This piano ballad became a minor Pop hit and got to #12 on my chart.
63. Carrie Underwood - Ghost Story
The first single from Carrie's album "Denim & Rhinestones" took a slow time climbing up my chart, but eventually reached #10.
62. ABBA - Just A Notion
This song was actually recorded in 1979 and was released on ABBA's comeback album "Voyage" last year, proving that ABBA's music is timeless. The song reached #5 on my chart.
61. Brendan Murray - Real Love
Brendan attempted to represent in Eurovision with this song. While the song wasn't chosen, at least it got to #9 on my chart.

60. Goo Goo Dolls - You Are the Answer
"You are the Answer" ended up becoming the hit for me from their new album. The top 20 AC hit reached #8 for me.
59. Bryan Adams - So Happy it Hurts
A big return for the 80s rocker/90s balladeer Bryan Adams. The song became a top 10 for me, and yes, that is his mother in the music video.
58. Charlie Puth - Loser
The final #1 of 2022 became his 5th overall #1 for me and his first solo #1 in over 3 years.
57. Lady Gaga - Hold My Hand
Lady Gaga's contribution to Top Gun: Maverick. The song had a quick rise to #5 for me.
56. Westlife - My Hero
The 2nd single from Westlife's "Wild Dreams" album became their 2nd top 10 in a row. The song was co-written by Ed Sheeran.
55. Butch Walker - Leather Weather (Mr. & Mrs. Understanding)
Butch Walker has been in the game for decades, including being the former Marvelous 3 lead singer, but this marks his first solo hit on my chart and it's currently sitting at #6.
54. Ava Max - Maybe You're the Problem
Her 2nd album finally drops next month, and this was the first single. Got to #4 for me.
53. Ed Sheeran - Celestial
Oh Ed, you knew what you had to do! lol The 3rd Pokémon song to top my chart, and the 2nd "Celestial" song to do so.
52. Cheyenne Jackson - Celebrate Your Face
The Broadway star and Masked Singer finalist scored his first charting song this year as "Celebrate Your Face" reached #8 on the chart.
51. AWOLNATION f/Taylor Hanson - Material Girl
Released on April Fool's Day, this sounds like it's just that, but in reality, it's a pretty solid cover. It only spent 17 weeks on my chart, but peaked at #3.

50. Ed Sheeran - Shivers
While this did peak at #3 in January, it spent half of its chart life in 2021 resulting in a lower year-end position.
49. The Weeknd - Sacrifice
Another act I saw this year. Although this reached #3, it only lasted 18 weeks in the top 100.
48. Lany - Ex I Never Had
After a couple of top 10s last year, Lany scored another with this one getting some longevity despite a #12 peak.
47. Meghan Trainor f/Teddy Swims - Bad For Me
The first single (and MUCH better than Made You Look) from Meghan's "Takin it Back" album. THe song reached #7 for me.
46. Elton John & Britney Spears - Hold Me Closer
Britney's comeback after her emancipation and Elton's revival continued on this "Tiny Dancer" interpolation. Reached #9 on my chart.
45. OneRepublic - I Ain't Worried
Another hit from the Top Gun: Maverick soundtrack. While "I Ain't Worried" had a longer run than Gaga, the peak was lower at #13.
[youtube]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WFsAon_TWPQ[/yputube] 44. Charlie Puth - Light Switch
The lead single from "Charlie" peaked at #2, but only stayed on the chart for 4 months.
43. Jamie Miller - I Lost Myself in Loving You
The 2nd single from Jamie's EP "Broken Memories" reached #8 for me, but had a quick fall.
42. Robbie Williams - Angels XXV
"Angels" got to #4 back in 2000, and leading his XXV album, the orchestral version also made the top 10 peaking at #8.
41. The Wanted - Stay Another Day
The final single released during Tom Parker's lifetime was a cover of the 1994 East 17 hit from their Greatest Hits album. The song has certainly taken on new meaning since his passing in March.

40. The Weeknd - Out of Time
Out of Time had a slow climb to it's #10 peak giving it some nice longevity.
39. Jonas Blue & Why Don't We - Don't Wake Me Up
This collab spent 3 weeks at #5 back in May. Why Don't We tends to be hit or miss for me, this was definitely a hit!
38. Calum Scott - Biblical
The first single from "Bridges" spent the first 10 weeks of the year in the top 10, peaking at #2.
37. Mary J Blige - Good Morning Gorgeous
Got to hear her live this year as well. "Good Morning Gorgeous" reached #2 and became her biggest hit on my chart since "No More Drama" hit #1 back in 2002.
36. Jonas Brothers - Who's In Your Head
The JoBros started the year at #2, then topped the chart for 3 weeks. The song altogether spent 6 months in the top 50.
35. DNCE - Move
More Joe Jonasness. "Move" is DNCE's highest song on this year-end. The song reached #6 on the weekly.
34. The Band Camino - I Think I Like You
Another Hot AC hit that did well for me peaking at #9.
33. ABBA - Ode to Freedom
The closing track to "Voyage" is one of my favorites from the new album. The song reached #4 for me
32. Charlie Puth f/Jung-Kook - Left & Right
Charlie's highest position on the year-end. A surprising feature from a BTS solo member as well with this song peaking at #6, but spent 6 months on the chart.
31. Michael Bublé - I'll Never Not Love You
First of 2 appearances this year, from his latest album "Higher." This one got to #10.

30. Troye Sivan - Angel Baby
If not for split year, this would've been a #1 contender for the year. After several semi-hits and misses, Troye finally got a huge hit for me. The song spent 9 weeks at #1 in total (8 of which in 2021).
29. Shawn Mendes - It'll be Okay
The first #1 crashout to spend its full tun in 2022. Shawn topped the chart for 2 weeks, but only spent 17 weeks in the top 50.
28. Amy Shark f/Keith Urban - Love Songs Ain't For Us
This one had a slow rise on my chart, but eventually peaked at #4. It spent a whopping 8 months on the Hot 100.
27. Kate Bush - Running Up That Hill
Who had a 25+ year old song from Kate Bush going viral in 2022? All I'll say is "stranger things" have happened. This got to #2 for me.
26. Reba McEntire & Dolly Parton - Does He Love You
2 country queens united. Reba teams up with Dolly on a new version of her 1993 hit originally sang with Linda Davis. The remake reached #3 on my chart.
25. Adele - Easy on Me
Adele finally scored a #1 on my chart this year. It topped for 2 weeks in January but of course had points in 2021 as well.
24. Louis Tomlinson - Bigger Than Me
The first single from Louis' new album "Faith in the Future" became his 2nd #1 for me.
23. Eddie Benjamin - Weatherman
No relation to Alec (Alec is American, Eddie is Australian). "Weatherman" became a minor pop hit this year, but more importantly topped my chart for 3 weeks in June.
22. Michael Bublé - Higher
The Bubly guy's highest year-end appearance this year. Its chart run is just about done here, but not before snagging a #4 peak.
21. Natalie Taylor - Love is the Answer
Natalie Taylor scored a huge #1 for me last year with "For A Reason." While "Love is the Answer" only got to #5, it spent a whopping 35 weeks on the chart.

20. Michael Whalen f/Donna Lewis - Distance
An updated version of Michael Whalen's "Across the World," the new song features Donna Lewis. This got to #4 giving Donna Lewis her first top 5 on my chart in 24 years!
19. Westlife - Starlight
After more than 2 decades since their first entry "Swear it Again," Westlife finally scores their first #1 with "Starlight." It topped the chart for 4 weeks.
18. Silk Sonic - Love's Train
Bruno and Anderson's Con Funk Shun cover was a big Adult R&B hit and while only peaking at #7 for me, it spent 7 months on the chart.
17. Jax - Victoria's Secret
After scoring minor hits with "90s Kids" and "Like My Father" Jax strikes gold with her 2000s sounding anti-ode to the women's skimpies chain. The song was #1 for 3 weeks here.
16. Maren Morris - Circles Around This Town
"Cousin Maren" spend 3 weeks at #2 with this one. Spent 6 months on the chart and 11 of those weeks were in the top 10. Who kept her out of #1? That's coming soon!
15. Tiesto f/Ava Max - The Motto
Tiesto scores his first #1 on my chart teaming up with Ava who got her 2nd following "Kings & Queens." The song topped the chart for a month.
14. Five - Reset
Five broke up 1 month after their 3rd album was released. 20 years later they reformed as a trio and released their 4th album "Time." Reset was the song of the ones released that obviously stuck out the most for me, reminiscing of their mega smash for me "When I Remember When." While "Reset" didn't have the forever longevity the other had, it still spent 8 months on the chart peaking at #4.
13. Steve Lacy - Bad Habit
Bad Habit was still in my top 20 the last week of 2022. The song had a quick jump spending a week at #1 and 14 weeks in the top 10.
12. Justin Bieber - Ghost
This song had a lengthy run on my chart and leftover from 2021 spending 37 total weeks on and spending 2 weeks at #2, kept out by Westlife.
11. Shawn Mendes - When You're Gone
Shawn's highest appearance on 2022's year end. While the song only reached #3, it spent 15 weeks in the top 10, 10 of those in the top 5!

10. Sia - Unstoppable
2022 was definitely a year for old songs making comebacks. Sia's "Unstoppable" was originally released from her 2016 album "This is Acting" however went viral on (of course) TikTok and became a new hit 6 years later. The song hit #1 on the AC and Hot AC charts and got to #12 on Pop. For me the song peaked at #4 but spent 8 months on the chart.
9. Andy Grammer - Love Myself
"Love Myself" was released as part of Andy's EP "The Art of Joy." At the time however the label was pushing the song "Damn It Feels Good to Be Me" which I actually thought was one of his weakest songs. Decided to latch onto this release instead, and it became another big hit for him. The song spent 2 weeks at #1 in April giving him his 5th #1 overall.
8. Nicky Youre - Sunroof
This was definitely one of my biggest songs of the summer. It took me a minute to get around to this song, but once I did, I was hooked. The song quickly rose up my chart and ended up spending 6 weeks at #1. The song was also a #1 Pop and Hot AC hit and even reached #2 on the Alternative chart.
7. AJ Mitchell - Hi-Lo
AJ Mitchell is one of those acts I didn't think much of at first but changed my tone when I saw him perform at Jingle Ball in 2019 (which ended up being a last second decision due to an unrefusable offer). In 2022 he finally scored that huge hit for me. "Hi-Lo" definitely has some lyrics I can relate to, especially in the pre-chorus. Hi-Lo may have only reached #2 (kept out of #1 by "The Motto"), it stayed on the chart for 31 weeks.
6. Anastacia - American Night
Anastacia is another artist that waited over 2 decades for her first #1 here. She has certainly "paid her dues" despite American audiences practically ignoring her. "American Night" is the lead song from the indie film of the same name (and she also has a cameo in the film). The song topped my chart for 3 weeks and spent 15 weeks in the top 10.
5. Andy Grammer - Saved My Life
Andy's highest appearance on the year end featured R3hab. "Saved My Life" is a bit bittersweet at times for me as Andy calls this the song that he dedicates to the silent heroes who are there for us when we need them most. I remember him asking for people to dedicate this to someone who may have "saved their life" and sadly the person I thought of passed away last year from COVID. "Saved My Life" spent 3 weeks at #2 (behind "Sunroof") and remained on the chart for 32 weeks.
4. Conan Gray - Memories
I figured Conan would have to really work on it if he was going to top "Heather" for me and I think he did so with "Memories." Everything about it just gravitated towards me and I can definitely relate to some of these lyrics. "Memories" spent 5 weeks at #1 on my chart and spent 15 weeks in the top 10.
3. Stephen Sanchez - Until I Found You
Here was another one of those hits that completely came out of left field. I first heard this song on Sirius XM's Hitbound and though that not only did it sound out of place, but it actually sounded in place as well. There certainly wasn't anything sounding like this today. It sounded like an oldie and modern at the same time. "Until I Found You" topped my chart for a week but it spent 18 weeks in the top 10. It's currently still charting so there's more chance for decade end for this one.

2. Em Beihold - Numb Little Bug
I really thought Em Beihold had #1 in the bag for the year but re-checking the scores #1 beat her by a mere 68 points. "Numb Little Bug" for me was an instant ear worm and quickly made its way up the charts, but what became more important was the relatable lyrics especially having to do with mental health and depression. The song spent 4 weeks at #1 and spent an additional 9 nonconsecutive weeks at #2. Overall, the song stayed on the chart for 31 weeks.
1. Alec Benjamin - Devil Doesn't Bargain
After topping the 2019 list and finishing at #2 for the 2010s with "Let Me Down Slowly," Alec Benjamin continues to be a solid presence on my chart. This year his new album (un)Commentary produced "Devil Doesn't Bargain" which has also been a breakthrough hit for him on the charts. Along with his vocals, his songwriting techniques have also caught my attention. "Devil Doesn't Bargain" while on the surface sounds something that could be a Christian radio thing, it actually deals with abusive relationships. Although I've never been physically hurt in a relationship, I can definitely relate on an emotional and toxicity level. "Devil Doesn't Bargain" topped my chart for 6 weeks, tied for longest run of 2022 with "Sunroof," but what sealed the deal was its 18 weeks spent in the top 5.
Thanks everyone for viewing!
