Hello everyone,
Before I get started, I want to mention that I'm off on another vacation December 3-10, this time a cruise from L.A. to Puerta Vallarta! So my next chart which would normally appear on December 5, will be posted instead before I leave on Friday December 2.
Big moves and a new #1 highlight the new edition of the chart. The creative team of French dance producers Coopex and Charles B, as well as former "American Idol" contestant and all round super guy Robbie Rosen, move up to #1 with their incredibly infectious song "The Boss". The song even name-checks Diana Ross, because of her same-named hit from 1979. Be sure to check it out if you haven't!
The Fastest Riser soars 22-6 and that's "Yours" by Conan Gray, which follows up his #4 "Memories". Other big moves come from Greyson Chance (who I'm seeing in concert on December 1!), Stephen Sanchez, JVKE, Charlie Puth, new Canadian singer Shawn Molko, Canadian pop/rock duo Crash Adams, Matoma, Joel Corry & Tom Grennan, and Martin Garrix/DallasK/Sasha Alex Sloan.
I was pleased to see Darin's "Satisfaction" enter the Globalchart this week (along with surprise follow-up single "What's The Point", a cover of a Swedish hit by Johnossi from 2010), and the song bows as the Highest Debut at #26. It's Darin's 3rd entry on my chart this year, following #2 "Superstar" and #1 "Holding Me More", and his 8th overall (going back to 2008).
Next at #27 is Years & Years with "100% Pure Love", their take on the 1994 Crystal Waters smash. I was worried about this one when announced but Olly Alexander has such a great time with it and the arrangement is pretty reverent to the original. It's Years & Years' 4th entry on the chart this year, which included the #2 "Sweet Talker" with Galantis.
At #28, Tiesto returns to the chart for the first time in 3 years with "10:35", a collaboration with Calgary's Tate McRae. It's Tiesto's 6th chart entry, though he also has four as a remixer (which goes back to 2003!), and it's Tate's 2nd following last year's "You" with Regard and Troye Sivan.
The last new entry is one that you need to check out. At #29 is "Ghost Boy" by L.A. indie singer/songwriter Zac Poor. He's written songs for people like Backstreet Boys, Tori Kelly, Nick Jonas, and Tate McRae, but has maintained a low profile as a performer over the years. This one could be his ticket, a beautiful uptempo song that documents points in his life and will mean a lot to the LGBTQ2S+ community.

Have a great week!
