Whoops
Track 1: If Our Love Is Wrong - It's nice! A mellow-y opening track for the album with a really good message.
Track 2: You Give Me Something - Catchy! Way more upbeat and shows off his voice really well.
Track 3: Rhythm Inside - I like the beat with verses that flow smoothly into the chorus. Also his vocals <3 Definitely a really good album so far.
Track 4: You Are The Reason - back to mellow! I like that I've already heard these first four tracks somewhere or other before listening to this album. I feel like they've been in TV promo's here. This is such a romantic song!
Track 5: Come Back Home - One of the tracks that made my chart!
Peaked at #47 and lasted 13 weeks in my Top 100. Love it. I'm drowning underwater, help me breathe again
Track 6: Stop Myself - The first song I hadn't heard before. It's funny that he says "Only Human" in this song heaps when that's the title of the album. I like the lyrics but it's not quite as dynamic as the previous tracks.
Track 7: His Robyn cover! As I mentioned, I love Robyn's version SO much that I'd find it hard to find any other version to match it. I would have preferred it if he'd changed the pronouns to suit a gay guy rather than him pining over a straight guy, but maybe he's just into straight guys
Track 8: Only You - I almost thought this was another cover, but thankfully it isn't. I kind of think this track sounds a little weird, but nice enough.
Track 9: Won't Let You Down - I didn't like this one at all. It did let me down
I don't really understand the lyrics of this! WHO is he not letting down? Someone seems to have upset him and he's got back with them even though he's hurt him? And why is he holding a girls hand? I am so confused.
Track 10: What I Miss Most - YES! Now THIS is an epic track!
I like how it starts off soft and then just BAMMM right into the chorus. I'd like to think the thing he misses most is the sex, but I know it's something sweeter than that
This is his highest charting song for me yet (Peaked at #3 and lasted 17 weeks in my Top 100)
Track 11: Hotel Room - I think this is the track that I already mentioned wasn't my favourite when I first listened to the album. It's just a "nice" song but doesn't really go anywhere, you know? At least to me.
Track 12: Good To You - I hadn't heard this song either, but I like the clicking. I quite like it! The vocal range and how it goes a different direction to what I'm used to is quite appealing, and songs that think outside the box tend to do well for me.
Track 13: Not Dark Yet - Zzzzzzzzz
I guess you do want to end the album on a soft note.
Track 14: Dancing On My Own (Tiesto mix) - Well I do like my remixes, but I don't listen to too many, so it's nice to hear a more dancey version of this.
All in all, a pretty solid album I'd have to say.
