"Head Over Feet" - AMAZING "Frozen" - I thought was weird-as-f at the time but it's grown on me over the years. "Time Of Your Life" was gigantic here. It seemed to sit at #1 for ages on the ARIA Singles chart. I thought it was nice and so different from them. Hard to believe Green Day have been around so long now. LOVE "You Only Get What You Give". So sad to read about their break-up in 1999 because of the pressures of touring and lack of sleep etc. "When I Come Around" wasn't bad

70. Alanis Morissette – “You Learn” (1996)This was always one of my favorites from her. It's such a fun song and has a fun video to go along with it! 69. Backstreet Boys – “I Want It That Way” (1999)I'm a young girl who grew up in the 90's. So naturally, I f*cking loved this from the moment I heard it. One of the best songs of the teen pop era and definitely one of the most iconic for sure, although I will admit there are actually two other songs from them that I like more than this. 68. Aerosmith – “I Don’t Want To Miss A Thing” (1998)Again, I remember when this was a brand new single. I remember seeing this go to #1 on the VH1 Top 10 Countdown. So the fact that it's now 20 is pretty damn depressing. This is an excellent song and is still to this day my favorite Aerosmith song, this one brings back so many memories of when I first started getting into music. 67. Backstreet Boys – “Quit Playing Games (With My Heart)” (1997)Another song that takes me back to the 90's. I used to hear this one on the radio all the time. Still love this just as much as I did when I was a kid! 66. Heart – “Alone” (1987)When I first started getting into 80's music around 2005-2006, this song was immediately one of my favorites. This song has one of the best build-ups ever, and Ann really sings her ASS off on this one! One of my favorite songs of theirs, although they have three more songs left that I like more than this. 65. Backstreet Boys – “As Long As You Love Me” (1997)BSB were one of the first pop acts I ever loved, and this was always my favorite from them. That has NEVER changed. I always enjoyed hearing this on the radio and even today when I listen to it I think of those days driving with my Mom in Rocky Point listening to WALK 97.5. Brings back so many memories. I loved the video for this too! 64. Starship – “Sara” (1986)Even before the major 2013 takeover that was Slickmania, I always really loved this song, especially because it was #2 on the very first AT40 show I listened to way back in 2006 (the #1 song that week is another big 80's favorite of mine, Mr. Mister's "Kyrie", which JUST missed the list). I do wish there was more Grace on this song though, but it's still excellent regardless. 63. Selena – “Dreaming Of You” (1995)The ONLY Selena that matters tbh. This was one of the first pop songs I ever loved, and another one that I constantly heard on the radio growing up. I always really liked Selena, and I thought her death was so sad. I remember in fifth grade my reading teacher wanted us to read a biography on a celebrity, and then do a presentation as that celebrity in front of the class, and I chose Selena (my friend at the time was surprised I didn't go with Madonna ). An excellent pop song that has a lot of nostalgia for me. 62. The Cranberries – “Promises” (1999)Could this song kick ANY MORE ASS?? A lot of their heavier songs over the years have constantly been compared to "Zombie", but if there was one song of theirs that came the closest to that one, it's this bop right here. Such a great song! And Dolores looks so badass in the video. 61. Alice In Chains – “Down In A Hole” (1992)I love the music to this one, there's just something about it that's so beautiful. I like that it has a mellow sound, but at the same time it has a really heavy chorus. My second favorite from them! 1976 (1) 1977 (2) 1981 (1) 1982 (1) 1983 (1) 1987 (1) 1992 (1) 1996 (1) 1998 (1) 60. Fleetwood Mac 59. Rush 58. Celine Dion 57. Starship 56. Rush 55. Heart 54. Rush 53. Journey 52. Alice In Chains 51. Goo Goo Dolls

60. Fleetwood Mac – “Dreams” (1977)I always really liked this song back in the 90’s, but ever since Grace Slick turned me into a 70’s whore, it has grown to become one of my favorite songs of the 70's. "Sisters Of The Moon" may have been a big moment for me on The Book Club, but this still remains as my favorite song from them and is in my opinion Stevie’s best vocal performance. 59. Rush – “Subdivisions” (1982)When I first started getting into Rush around 2008, this was one of the songs that was an instant highlight for me in their catalog. I always really loved this one, and it’s very relatable as someone who - especially at that time - considered themselves a high school loner. 58. Celine Dion – “It’s All Coming Back To Me Now” (1996)I know I have not been as vocal about this on the boards as Courage or his Australian alias Matt, but Celine Dion was a HUGE part of my childhood growing up, as she was one of my favorite artists and one of the first artists that I ever loved. "My Heart Will Go On" is still to come on here much later, but this is another one that I loved from the very start. It's such an epic, phenomenal song. Everything about this is just so damn beautiful, and let’s be real here - she did Meat Loaf's sound way better than Meat Loaf. 57. Starship – “Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us Now” (1987)Come on, do I really need to explain this one? This and "We Built This City" were the first Grace songs I ever heard when I was a kid, and I love both of them but I didn’t know who the artist was until many years later around the time I started getting into 80's music. But ever since Grace helped me get through the major depression I went through from 2011-2013, I just appreciate this song even more than I did back then. Such a fun 80's pop song! 56. Rush – “2112” (1976)One of the most epic songs ever - literally - it’s 20 minutes long!! I LOVED hearing this one live back in 2010. 55. Heart – “Barracuda” (1977)One of the most badass songs they've ever done! I love the story behind it too, their fungus record label Mushroom created a sleazy rumor about Ann and Nancy being lovers, and when a fan asked Ann about it she got so angry she started writing this song. YOU GO GIRL! SHOW THOSE SEXIST m*th*rf**k*rS! 54. Rush – “Limelight” (1981)Another one that I instantly loved when I started getting into Rush! This was also one of the first songs from them I ever heard. My second favorite from them - my favorite may be a surprising choice to some since it's not as well known as some of the ones that already appeared like this or "Subdivisions", but it won't be appearing for awhile so you're just gonna have to figure it out. 53. Journey – “Separate Ways (Worlds Apart)” (1983)Love this one! This was one of the first 80's songs that I really got into when I started getting into 80's music. Whenever this came on AT40, I used to sing along to it pretty badly. Just think of Murphy Brown singing Aretha Franklin's "Natural Woman". 52. Alice In Chains – “Would?” (1992)Such a kick ass 90's song!! My favorite from them. Absolutely brilliant. 51. Goo Goo Dolls – “Slide” (1998)Another one that I remember when it was a current on the VH1 Top 10 Countdown. One of their best songs! The nostalgia is real. Top 50 time! 1980 (1) 1981 (1) 1985 (2) 1993 (1) 1994 (1) 1995 (1) 1997 (2) 1998 (1) 50. Green Day 49. Garbage 48. Heart 47. Hole 46. Heart 45. Meredith Brooks 44. Jefferson Starship 43. Oasis 42. Black Sabbath 41. Starship

This set is amazing! Well, minus Celine. The Goo Goos song isn't my favourite, although very nostalgic as you said. But the rest is great!

Well all I have to say is that "It's All Coming Back To Me Now" should have been in the Top 2 Also, Meatloaf, as IF dude. You got nothin' on Celine! Also, if I was going to have any song from the 80's put on repeat, it would be "Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now" - just amazing. I can't believe a record label would spread that rumour! Ergh.

I'm going to assume '45' is Meredith's only hit single?

50. Green Day – “Basket Case” (1995) I first heard this in 2005 when I started getting into Green Day’s music, and I loved this instantly. It’s such a kick ass punk rock song! 49. Garbage – “I Think I’m Paranoid” (1998)Like “When I Grow Up”, I think I might’ve heard this when it was out but I’m not 100% sure. I (re)discovered this in 2005 and I absolutely loved it! It has aged ridiculously well and I still play it on a regular basis. It still remains as my favorite from them to this day, excellent song! 48. Heart – “Black On Black II” (1993)And here is the song that made me more interested in checking out Heart! I first heard this on my LAUNCH station in I want to say early 2007, and I thought this song was so badass, like honestly this might as well have been called “Barracuda ‘93”. The heaviest song they’ve ever done and my second favorite from their career. 47. Hole – “Doll Parts” (1994)This was exactly the type of song that angsty 12-year-old me was drawn to back in 2005. I loved this song back then and I still love it now, and you know that? I don’t care what anyone says - I love Courtney’s voice! 46. Heart – “Never” (1985)Most people if they had to pick a favorite Heart song, it would be “Alone” or “These Dreams” or “Barracuda”. For some reason, it was always this one for me. I don’t know what it is about this song that I love so much, it’s just so catchy and fun and it has been my favorite from them for the last 12 years. I don’t think that’s changing anytime soon! 45. Meredith Brooks – “Bitch” (1997)I remember one time singing along to this song as a kid and Unkie freaked out. I loved this song growing up, even if I probably had no business listening to it, and I still love it today. A great 90’s rock song! 44. Jefferson Starship – “Stranger” (1981)Mick and Slick’s first duet! This was the queen of music’s first single since rejoining the band in 1981, and what a big way to come back. This is my fourth favorite song from her overall but my second favorite under the Jefferson Starship name. This song kicks so much ass and Grace looks really hot in the video, but then again the grass is also green. 43. Oasis – “D’You Know What I Mean” (1997)There seems to be a lot of people who hate this song, and I really don’t get that. I loved this one from the moment I first heard it back in 2005. I’m noticing a pattern in this set with 2005 discoveries. Seriously though, that was a big year for expanding my music tastes, but anyway, back to this bop - I still love this just as much as I did back then, it is such an epic song, I love the build-up, just everything about this is super awesome! 42. Black Sabbath – “Neon Knights” (1980)One of the many, many great songs from the greatest heavy metal album of all time Heaven And Hell. Loved this when I first discovered it in 2008 (See? Not 2005! ), and I still love it today. So heavy! 41. Starship – “Rock Myself To Sleep” (1985)Some may remember that when I first heard this song back in 2013, I pretty much lost my shit. This is basically Grace doing a metal song – in fact, Quiet Riot’s Kevin DuBrow sings back-up on this, and they once performed this on MTV with Twisted Sister’s Dee Snider. Go get that metal cred Grace! Anyway, this is my favorite from them under the Starship, name but they have one Jefferson Starship and one Jefferson Airplane song still to come. I love when Grace rocks out like this!

The Green Day song is overrated, No, just no to Hole, you should have put April Wine's version of Rock Myself to Sleep but the rest is great
