This week's chart is exciting in a different way from the last chart.
The five debuts from last chart certainly move up in a big way, with "You And Me" by Lifehouse and "Krafty" by New Order tying for the fastest riser of the week.
"The Letter Song" by Tyler Hilton gives way to a new #1 after 4 charts (8 weeks) at the top, which is the amazing Junior Vasquez mix of "Blood" by newcomer Casey Stratton. But Casey has his work cut out for him in two weeks and may not be able to hang on to #1, with strong songs immediately below by Howie Day, Low Millions, and Rob Thomas.
Two debuts round out the chart. You can look at the rest of the chart using the link in my signature. Your comments as always are appreciated!
NEW TO THE CHART:
HOW WOULD U FEEL - David Morales f/ Lea-Lorien A punchy dance track, a la "As The Rush Comes" by Motorcycle (my #5 song of 2003), "How Would U Feel" has been around for a while now but I've been hearing it a lot lately and it's pushed all the right buttons. One of the better dance songs of the year so far, in a year that doesn't look too promising to me for that genre. Softer songs seem to be on a big come back!!
WHEN THE STARS GO BLUE - Tyler Hilton & Bethany Joy Lenz Though Tyler has left #1 this week, he appears with a slick track from the "One Tree Hill" TV show. While I'm not a fan of the show, I do like how his and Bethany's voices blend, so we'll see how far this one can go.

Hi, Bill! Well, being one of the self-proclaimed kings of cheese around here, let me start out by saying what a BLOODy good chart you've got this week. Guffaw! (Toss rotten tomatoes NOW, please.) In a small moment of seriousness, may I add that "Blood" is a great track. I appreciate your turning me towards that one. Huh? What the heck is this new debut from TyHi? I haven't heard that one. Now you're obligated to float me an mp3 ... almost immediately, in fact! ;D C'mon, Bill! Where is it? Awwww, you're gonna make me dance first, are ya? Sigh ... all right; here ya go: Now get that link to me already!
