Hello everyone,
I hope everyone had a good week last week. My week was really rough - yay depression. On the plus side things are much better today and this week seems like it is going to be a lot better so that's nice. Anywho, onto this weeks chart!
We say goodbye to two songs this week, City and Colour fall from 25 with "Lover Come Back," a top 5 hit that seemed to fall quickly once it hit its peak. Our other song that drops off the countdown this week is Of Monsters and Men with their former number one "Empire."

-- 25 City and Colour – Lover Come Back 15 5
-- 24 Of Monsters and Men – Empire 21 1 (2)
Two out means two in. Wintersleep enters with the follow up to their number one song "Amerika" as "Santa Fe" debuts at 25. The weeks highest debut is Breaking Benjamin who enter the countdown at 23 with "Ashes of Eden."
This weeks chart is defined by the mantra slow and steady wins the race as many songs climb a single spot, with some exceptions of course. The Tragically Hip move 23-20 with "In A World Possessed By The Human Mind," more on the Hip later. The Lumineers once again are awarded the greates gainer award as "Ophelia" moves 18-14.
The weeks top five begins with a song dropping 2-5, the Strumbellas look like they're out of the running for the top spot with "Spirits," no worries though, number two is a very respectable peak position. At number four Walk the Moon holds steady with "Work This Body." Number three comes from the band Miike Snow, "Genghis Khan" moves 5-3. Sliding into number two is twenty one pilots, besting the number three peak of "Stressed Out," is "Ride." Can they get the top spot? Time will tell, one thing is for certain though, competition for the number one spot will be fierce next week with this weeks number three and two songs, and of course this weeks number one. Speaking of... Err I guess typing of, Adele holds the top spot for a third week with "When We Were Young."

Album Track of the Week: The Tragically Hip – Goodnight Attawapiskat
Extra: The Tragically Hip – Courage
I don't usually talk about the extras, but this week I'm going to. As many of you know last Tuesday Gord Downie, the lead singer of the Tragically Hip, let the world know he has been diagnosed with terminal brain cancer. The Tragically Hip are kind of Candian legend, particularly songs like "Wheat Kings," which contains the fantastic line "late breaking story on the CBC." I thought I'd also include the track "Goodnight Attawapiskat" from the album "Now For Plan A" because, despite the fact that, to my knowledge, the song wasn't that popular, I think it does a great job of showcasing just how Canadian this band is. And for the Extra I picked "Courage" because that's kind of a classic, and I think it's fitting given Gord's brain cancer. The Tragically Hip are doing a cross country tour this summer starting in July, I''m hoping to go. I wish Gord and the rest of the band, their friends and family, and their fans all the best during this difficult time.
That's all for me for this week. Have a great week folks!
