Hello friends,
Hope everyone's having a fantastic Monday. Last day of classes at my uni was today so that's a thing, although I'm not taking classes, just working at the university, it's nice that classes are done because the busses will be less packed.
We have two debuts this week which means we say goodbye to two songs:
Falling Off:
TW LW Artist - Song Weeks Peak
-- 19 The Decemberists – Why Would I Now? 12 6
-- 18 Zedd – Papercut (feat. Troye Sivan) 16 4
The first debut is at number 20, Vance Joy returns to the chart with a previous Album Track of the Week, "Georgia." The weeks highest debut comes right below (above?) at number 19 Walk the Moon enters the chart for the first time with "Work This Body."
The weeks greatest gainer is Adele moving 13-9 with "When We Were Young." Other notable movers are Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats "I Need Never Get Old" (20-17), twenty one pilots "Ride" (17-13), The Stumbellas "Spirits" (15-11).
This weeks top five starts with a new top five entry, Nothing But Thieves moves 6-5 with "Trip Switch." Adele holds at number four after falling there last week with "Hello." Last weeks number one just couldn't get a fifth week at the top and falls to three, Metric's "Lie Lie Lie" (1-3) is the third song to spend 4 weeks at the top spot, but don't count it out just yet. Number two is a chart mainstay, Troye Sivan climbs a single spot with "Youth" (3-2). The weeks top dog is Wintersleep's "Amerika" (2-1). This song is just so freaking good, hence why it's number one.
That's all for me this week folks - have a wonderful week!
