Hi friends,
Sorry I'm posting this so late, it's been a ridiculous week in so many ways - oh well it's the weekend now. Let's get on to this [er I guess last] weeks chart!
After two back-to-back weeks of no debuts we have three this week which means we say goodbye to three songs, two of which have been pretty big hits.
Falling Off:
TW LW Artist – Song Weeks Peak
-- 20 Twenty One Pilots – Stressed Out 14 3
-- 19 Metric – The Governess 14 2
-- 18 Neverending White Lights – My Fate (feat. Dallas Green) 9 11
The first of our three debuts is twenty one pilots who replace themselves at number 20 with "Ride." The Stumbellas debut at number 18 with "Spirirts," and Adele is the highest debut at 17 with "When We Were Young," more from Adele later in the countdown.
Nothing But Thieves takes the honour of greatest gainer this week jumping into the top 10 with "Trip Switch" (12-8).
We start the top five with Of Monsters and Men's number one hit "Empire" (3-5). Troye Sivan is once again in the top five, though with a new song, "Youth" moves 7-4 in it's fourth week. Wintersleep moves into the top three with "Amerika" (5-3). Metric looses the top spot this week, slipping 1-2 with "Lie Lie Lie," don't count them out just yet, I went to a Metric concert last night which might affect this weeks chart. Taking the number one spot from Metric is Adele, who had a really good week with the highest debut of the week and now also the number one song with "Hello."
That's all for me... Last week... Stay tuned, tomorrow I will likely post this weeks chart!
