I don't have a sweet tooth, so I'm not really the biggest doughnut guy. But I know enough to know that Krispy Kreme is way better. Most of my family and friends prefer Dunkin, which leads me to believe that most of my family and friends are on CRACK.
Forget about breakfast sandwiches and all that. Who has the better doughnuts?

Write-in vote for Tim Hortons. Neither Dunkin Donuts nor Krispy Kreme has much presence in Canada, both have only about 4 locations each and none near me. I have had Dunkin Donuts in the USA though. I intended to try Krispy Kreme last time I was in Montreal but they were closed for renovations at the time.

Write in for Donut King in Clermont.
I like the donuts at DD and always preferred it to Krispy Kreme until I tried the donut at Krispy Kreme with vanilla frosting filing inside. Those are the best!

Canadians are ape-$#!t crazy for that stuff...I had lunch with Roland Walton (CEO of Tim Horton's) two years ago. We discussed their donuts and approach to F&B in general. I really like their family-oriented franchise model. I respect that man's convictions, but I am more than ever convinced Tim Horton's is complete crap. Krispy Kreme won't even sell a donut more than 36 hours old while Tim Horton's has NEVER sold a donut less than 72 hours old. I currently frequent the Krispy Kreme in Mississauga. I am kinda' addicted. Krispy Kreme is definitely the best donut I have ever had. Krispy Kreme's consistency is also respectable. A donut in Canada tastes identical to one in South Korea - consistency in fast food is a key element.

I had Tim Horton's when I was in NYC last year and it was better than both of these tbh.
