Martina Sorbara extends her list of #1s to include the latest CD from her entitled 'Ripples' as it moves ahead one more position to land at the #1 spot. It's her eighth chart topper in just over two years, that began with 'Bonnie And Clyde II' in late 2002. Avril Lavigne is the second Greatest Gainer with 'Nobody's Home', which moves 6-3 and is poised to hit #1 as soon as next week. Other notable moves in the Top 10 include Sarah Slean whose 'Lucky Me' leaps 9-6. Tegan And Sara have the biggest jump of the year with 'Speak Slow'. The song jumps 40-20 in its second chart week and is the week's greatest gainer for the second week. Entries this week come from the Rasmus, Kate Maki and Weezer, who move in at #40 with 'Undone'. -Top 10- #1 Martina Sorbara - Ripples #2 Tegan and Sara - Walking With A Ghost #3 Avril Lavigne - Nobody's Home #4 Melissa McClelland - Jaded #5 Jason Mraz - On Love, In Sadness #6 Sarah Slean - Lucky Me #7 Mitchell Hunter - They Might Say #8 Alanis Morissette - Eight Easy Steps #9 Michelle Branch - One Of These Days #10 Sarah Harmer - Pendulums

Weezer "Undone"? Is it a live track? Because that's a seriously old song. But there's nothing like discovering old music and liking it as much as current music. (Me - Dramarama "Anything, Anything" in 2000, a 15-year old song.)

Yeah. I just got Weezer's CD earlier in the Summer so the song is relatively new to me but because of this particular chart and the way I run it, the songs from the CD are released as "new' tracks.
