Chart Notes: Sara Bareilles claims a new record as the longest charting song to hit #1. She previously made it to #2 twice (blocked by the 6 week #1 hit "The Way" and the 7 week chart topper "We Can't Stop". Fueled by the controversy with another singer ripping off Bareilles, the song has gotten additional attention on my chart this week. Miley extends her top 2 chart record to an 11th week in the runner up position. Robin Thicke is the greatest gainer of the week has he continues his rebound (29-15) with his latest single "Give It 2 U (feat. Kendrick Lamar). Capital Cities nearly drops off the chart as they plummet (12-30) with "Safe and Sound. We have 4 new entries this week including Cascada who is the highest entry of the week with their latest single "The World Is In My Hands" at #3. Lady GaGa's latest single "Applause" makes a #4 splash on the chart. Drake is at home on the chart as he makes a #18 debut with his latest single "Hold On, We're Going Home (feat. Majid Jordan)". Our last chart entry is One Direction's "Best Song Ever" at #29.
