My chart is updated a day early - we're in the process of making an offer on a new house today, so my today and tomorrow are going to be consumed with all the back-and-forth and thought needed to get the house we want! There's a new #1 this week, should come as no surprise... The Top 10 is hot and remains steady, with one new entry. McFly is the fastest riser of the week, and I play catch-up with four debuts. I've been listening to a lot of oldies lately so I'm not as up on the new stuff as I like to be. NEW TO THE CHART: LOSE MY BREATH - Destiny's Child Without checking my archive, I think this is only the third time DC has appeared on this chart (I know I charted "Independent Women" and "Emotion"), but this is a good party track. MY PLACE - Nelly f/ Jaheim Unlike "Tilt Ya Head Back", which despite a good Christina vocal is simply a knockoff of "Hot In Herre", this one benefits from the soft/deep soulful vocal interplay. OPEN ROAD - Bryan Adams This is one of his best songs in recent years with a neat video. I first saw Bryan in concert in a small club in Toronto in late 1981, and his self-titled debut CD was the first one I heard in the 80's. SOMEBODY TOLD ME - Killers I don't know how long it will last, but it's growing on me. www.geocities.com/tunedon/tunedontop30.htmlfor the full chart. Please post any comments! Thanks!

Wow, Lola made it to the top! ;D ;D ;D On my chart Lola is stuck at #9 ... but still has a bullet. Because of the logjam in the upper end of my chart, however, I don't think Lola is going to make top 5 after all. However, I'm glad to see her kickbox her way to the top of your list this week. Great to see Tyler Hilton in your top ten. He moves 13-11 on my list this week, but he will move his way into the top ten next week for sure. ;D Great to see you debut "My Place." This week it moves 22-20 on my list. Again, it's one of those songs that normally would be much higher on my chart, but there are so many bulleted titles lately that it's just taking longer to go anywhere. This board has exposed me to so much new music, and I have only so much space in my chart!

Great chart, Bill. Your top 10 is almost "Flawless." That was mighty lame.
However, glad to see my influence hanging around the chart in the forms of Tyler Hilton, Evanescence and Ben Jelen.
Also good to see Bryan Adams show up this week. I wen't alive in 1981, but I saw him live a few years back... Gosh, I love that man.
I'm also thrilled to see The Killers debut. "Somebody Told Me" is an awsome song, and I'm thrilled to see that it finallt caught to you. It may not last long, but given how exclusive your chart seems to be, it's an accomplishment just to chart!

Funny, I've never thought of my chart being exclusive, so I'm definitely taking that as a compliment Dan My chart has always been just about what I like at the time. I know many of you haven't heard a lot of the songs on the chart, but I'm pleased when one of my adds strikes a chord. ;D
