His new album will be on MapleMusic Recordings, which is home to a lot of great Canadian talents like my favourite Kathleen Edwards! www.davidusher.com/swf/MaplePressRelease.htmI'm looking forward to his new CD. While 'Hallucinations' didn't impress me the way 'Morning Orbit' did, I'm still able to appreciate it and definately think his next CD will be great!

Great news! I was expecting something new in 2005 from David. Nice to see that he's joined MapleMusic. Too bad he left/was released from EMI Canada, which saw him through his entire career to date.

Well, while his last album didn't have many radio friendly songs, I definately think the title track and 'In This Light' (which is my least favourite album track) could have been worthy releases so hopefully MapleMusic can give him some goodness.

I'm surprised "Surfacing" didn't do well at all.

I'm surprised "Surfacing" didn't do well at all. Me too! That's my favourite track on the entire album! It's awesome! Up for #1 of the year on both of my charts!

I don't think a third single was released at all. I heard 'Surfacing' on the radio a few times but nothing major.
I like his 'Morning Orbit' CD more as a whole but 'Surfacing' is prolly better than any of the songs on either CD.
