Hey everyone! Not a lot of change on the chart in this edition, but enough to still make it interesting! Laurent Konrad holds at #1 fairly firm, but is being challenged by a few songs below. Fastest riser is "She Will Be Loved" by Maroon5, followed by other big jumps from Oceanlab, Gavin DeGraw's "Chariot", DJ Kayslay and friends, George Michael, and Maroon5's "Tangled". NEW TO THE CHART: DRAGOSTEA DIN TEI - Haiducii vs Gabry Ponte This Romanian dance tune is being dismissed as drivel but it's actually a fun song, soon to be heard in sports arenas near you. I like it better than the original by O-Zone. Haiducii is an Italian singer/celebrity and remixer Ponte was (is?) a member of Eiffel 65. FALLING DOWN - Ben Jelen If there ever was a quiet, reflective song that could dominate the summer months, it's this one, from the Scottish-born New Yorker's debut CD Give It All Away. A great voice and talent to watch. FORCA - Nelly Furtado A good reason to revisit the Folklore CD, an uplifting tune that sounds great in the summer, a much better followup to "Powerless" than "Try". www.geocities.com/tunedon/tunedontop30.html

I like it better than the original by O-Zone. Haiducii is an Italian singer/celebrity and remixer Ponte was (is?) a member of Eiffel 65. Why would there be two versions anyway, and for them to be released so close to each other? Ah, so O-Zone was the group who did the song first? I was planning to debut the song on my chart but I didn't know what name(s) to put...
