It's a new number one on the singles chart this week, as Gym Class Heroes and Neon Hitch make i to the top with "Ass Back Home". That pushes "Wild Ones" back to two after six weeks on top. The Qwote "Throw Your Hands Up" thing moves up to three, but the next serious challenger for the top looks like being "We Are Young" which races up seventeen spots to land at six. One Direction also make a huge leap into the top ten, up eleven to nine with "One Thing".
Skrillex could possibly hit the top ten next week (seriously!!!) with "Bangarang", which rises ten places to 12. Train hit the top twenty, jumping nine spots with "Drive By", while Labrinth is up twelve to 29 with "Earthquake". Professor Green and Emeli Sande jump six places to land at 34 with "Read All About It".
There are four debuts to the top fifty, plus two re-entries this week. Usher has the highest of all, with "Climax" in at 37. Taio Cruz is right behind at 38 with "Troublemaker", which sadly seems destined for the top ten. Why can't my country realise that he's just releasing the same song over and over? I bet Colbie Caillat could realise it. Far East Movement and Justin Bieber (WTF!?) enter at 42 with "Live My Life" and the last debut is Sean Paul with "She Doesn't Mind" at 46. Re-entry wise, Lil Wayne is back to a new peak of 45 with "Mirror" and Calvin Harris sneaks back in to 49 with "Feel So Close".
Adele makes it thirty weeks on top of the albums chart, which is just phenomenal. Even though she is not a band, I hope she keeps going. The top four is all steady, while the Skrillex "Bangarang" EP is up to a new peak of five, and One Direction shoot back up to six with "Up All Night". Other than One Direction there's only one bullet, Michael Crawford jumps ten places to 30 with his Ultimate Collection.
Three albums debut, one of them in the top ten. Passenger (who?) enter at nine with "All The Little Lights". Dirty Three (who?) are in at 31 with "Toward The Low Sun" and Sleigh Bells (who?) (jks) enter too low at 33 with "Reign Of Terror". For some reason Ryan Adams makes a massive re-entry to a new peak of 16 with "Ashes & Fire" but I'm good with that. Pink Floyd are back in at 20 with "The Wall". Bon Iver return at 36, Taylor Swift is back in at 38 ahead of her tour and Lamb Of God are presumably visiting at the moment too, and score a re-entry at 43.
