METALLLLL Pure Pop (don't really see the point in this though since a lot of the big songs on the Globalchart are pop) 80's and 90's Pop (if this gets created I might do a separate chart on this)

90's and early 00's Retro Dance seems like a good idea.. I would support it, tho I would need assistance as to what was out there, so I know what to chart. I know I'm a huge fan of the 90s Eurodance. And I do fancy the idea of a retro chart. Christian has a good possibility, tho I'm not sure on the fan base here to keep it going. Country is probably in the same boat. An Album Tracks Chart imo would be too broad and I think it would largely favor more popular artists.

Country! However, after seeing one or two charts, I think it would be filled with pop artists like Taylor Swift, cause people in this board really don't like country, except for the pop versions of some songs. If we could gather country fans, I would SOOOO be there!
Christian would be the same, but I am not so knowledgable as other might be, and also not many fans in here, I would think.
Pure Pop, if by pure pop you mean, none of those horrible R&B influenced music that dominates the US charts, then I might be on board. I would chart artists from Europe, Asia or Latin America, that luckily have not all been tainted with urban rhythms.
I already chart album tracks, so yeah... lol

I would love a retro dance chart! There are soooo many amazing tunes from the 90's eurodance era! And the freestyle era before that! And the eurotrance of the early 00's! I'm into Country and Christian music too I don't see the point in Pure Pop. There is very little of it these days. Unless it's a Pure Pop chart that focused on European, Australian, Asian, and other lesser known artists. While we're on that note, it p***es me off on the dance chart when people only chart mainstream artists like Ke$ha and Brtiney and Gaga. I'm not saying these artists are bad, but, geez people!! Give the lesser known artists a chance! If you don't know a song, listen to it!

I'd participate in retro 80s & 90s Pop genre charts. I'm especially fond of the New Jack Swing era of Pop/R&B music that was prevalent in the late 80s & early 90s...but I like a lot of music from the 80s and 90s regardless. Though I wonder how you would govern this type of chart, given that it's older music that's already charted. Since I have the only vote for Urban, I doubt there will be an Urban genre chart. But I'd participate in that too. I'd participate in a Pure Pop chart, but I agree that the genre doesn't really exist anymore. Besides, "Pure Pop" is up to interpretation. What I consider Pure Pop, Bryan might not. What Bryan considers Pure Pop might differ from what Jess thinks is Pure Pop...and the definition changes again when you ask someone outside of North America...and so on and so on. Those are the only three charts I can see myself being even slightly interested in participating in. I don't get into Christian music. I'm getting very burned out on Dance music...and was never overly fond of ATB, Alice Deejay, and all of the rest of the early 00s acts. I'm not Australian, over 45, or into cowboy hats, so Australian, Adult Contemporary, and Country genre charts are out too.

i personally make 3 charts for english music. new album tracks, current radio singles and old music.
i listen to mostly pop music whether 90's or 00's and this decade. sometimes i spot some europe chart or other country's iTunes to find some new music. boybands are still my favourites. then follow by some adult contemporary music.
country, urban and christian music only play small part in my chart.
i am sure u can see what charts i am interested in.
