A California outsourcing agency is adding more weight to Paris Hilton’s burger ad controversy by recasting the spot with a 300-pound man playing Paris’ part.
The new advertisement for Accolo recruitment mimics all of Paris’ pouty car wash posturing – except the swimsuit- clad star is a 6-foot-2, 300-pound industrial designer named Eugene.
And instead of promoting spicy burgers, this ad’s tag line is “hiring the right person makes all the difference.”
Company CEO John Younger says the idea was spawned when he first saw pictures of the Hilton ad and thought, “if you ate hamburgers, you wouldn’t look like that.” So he decided to shoot a version with a model who looks like a true fast food fanatic.
Star Eugene Vicknair says the highlight of the video shoot was spraying water all over the company’s CEO. But the low was wearing the constricting swimsuit, which experienced a “wardrobe malfunction.”
Still, Vicknair would love to suit up again and may get his chance, because Accolo is challenging Paris to face him in a mud- wrestling match.
