#90 "I Miss You," Blink 182 Peak: #25 WOC: 14 Spins: 22951 *silence* Unfortunately, there's not that much to say about this one. So, on to #89.

#89 "Baby Boy," Beyonce Featuring Sean Paul Peak: #9 WOC: 8 Spins: 24010 This was a six-week #1 and finished at #15 in 2003. Beyonce's had a great year - if you count her appearance as part of Destiny's Child, then she ties Usher for most chart appearances this year with four. Speaking of which, much later I will tell about some chart interaction between Beyonce and Usher.

#87 "Holidae In," Chingy Featuring Ludacris & Snoop Dogg Peak: #10 WOC: 10 Spins: 24720 This peaked at #7 and was #64 last year. And it just occurred to me...Ludacris also has a total of four chart appearances. But two of those are as a featured artist, and this is one of those.

#85 "Through the Wire," Kanye West Peak: #20 WOC: 16 Spins: 27267 Interesting that his debut single is ranked the lowest of his three singles. But I seem to have committed another oversight, as Kanye also appears on the countdown four times. Maybe I should check who all appears four times so I can resolve that right now. *checks* OK, so Lil Jon does too. But three times out of four he was a featured artist, and his only appearance as main artist was at #99. So does Alicia Keys. All four are as a main artist. So does Chingy. One is as a main artist, and he's appeared twice already. And that's all of them. So that makes 7 artists all tied with most chart appearances, all with 4 each. Yikes! I think it's time to move on to #84...

#84 "Perfect," Simple Plan Peak: #13 WOC: 10 Spins: 27346 Ha, I knew they wouldn't rank very high. I guess it's only fitting that this finished at #84, since as I already mentioned, "Addicted" did last year. "Perfect" finished last year and started this year at its peak of #13.

#83 "Are You Gonna Be My Girl," Jet Peak: #17 WOC: 14 Spins: 27749 I remember that this peaked the same week that Clay Aiken tied the record for highest debut with "Solitaire" (#18) and only missed passing Jet by 20 spins. "Solitaire", by the way, finished all the way down at #197.

#82 "I Don't Want to Be," Gavin DeGraw Peak: #6 WOC: 9 Spins: 28661 All the "initial run" - and all its 1000 or so spins - did for this song was allow it to finish at #82 instead of #83. Whoopee! As a point of reference, earning only 1000 spins is about equal to peaking below the chart in the mid to lower 60s and lasting only a few weeks.

#81 "Splash Waterfalls," Ludacris Peak: #19 WOC: 15 Spins: 28948 This debuted the same week (2-6-04) as Hilary Duff's "Come Clean" and soon found itself jockeying for position with her song. Chart run comparisonSW: 42-34-29-30-27-25-24-22-19-21-23-23-26-29-37-OFF CC: 48-41-35-33-30-23-23-18-16-17-21-25-29-34-36-48-OFF "Come Clean" is still to come. As a matter of fact, so are the other two songs that debuted that week. Those are "This Love" (debuted at 46) and "One Call Away" (50).

#80 "Baby It's You," JoJo Peak: #13 WOC: 12 Spins: 29092 Though this features Bow Wow, my station only plays the version with just her. So, I decided to only list the main artist. I had the same policy with "Dip it Low", as there are versions where it's just her, featuring Fabolous, or featuring Shawnna. My reasoning is that in all the versions, the only constant is Christina - thusly, I will only list Christina.

#79 "Come Clean," Hilary Duff Peak: #16 WOC: 16 Spins: 29881 Well, this didn't take long. This is a decent improvement over last year, as "So Yesterday" peaked at #25 and finished at #102.

#78 "Scandalous," Mis-teeq Peak: #20 WOC: 17 Spins: 30012 This song almost peaked at #23 only 5 weeks into its run: 49-41-34-30-23-27-26-27-25-23-20-23-27-30-39-40-47-OFF Sudden movements backward like that aren't that common, but often when they happen, they're notable.
