Why did Spiderman 2 soundtrack be released with Switchfoot? That's odd! I'm just looking through Bryan's list for songs to add to my Worst of 2004 list that I'll make up sooner or later! LOL! Sorry Bry. You have good songs so far though!

20. Liz Phair - Extraordinary PEAK: #5I am extraordinary, if you'd ever get to know me I am extraordinary, I am just your ordinary Average every day sane psycho Supergoddess Average every day sane psychoLast year, she had my #8 song of 2003 with "Why Can't I?". This year, Liz Phair followed it up with another great song off her latest, self-titled album that made my top 5 in March. 19. The Rasmus - In The Shadows PEAK: #5I've been watching, I've been waiting In the shadows for my time I've been searching, I've been living For tomorrows all my lifeAnd now we come to the most successful act from Finland this year (actually, I don't recall any other Finnish artists making my chart this year), The Rasmus broke through internationally in 2004 with this song that made my top 5 in June.

18. Avril Lavigne - Nobody's Home PEAK: #1 (5 weeks)What's wrong, what's wrong now? Too many, too many problems. For where she belongs, where she belongs. She wants to go home, and nobody's home. Where she lies, broken inside. There's no place to go, no place to go to dry her eyes. Broken inside. It was a great year for Avril Lavigne, as all 3 of her singles this year have made it into the top 10. While this is probably my favourite of the three at the moment, it ranks lower since the other 2 singles have had their full runs in 2004, while this song is still charting, and may also make my top 100 of 2005. 17. Dido - Don't Leave Home PEAK: #8Oh, don't leave home Oh, don't leave home
And if you're cold, I'll keep you warm And if you're alone just hold on cause I will be your safety
Oh, don't leave homeAnother third single here, and much like Avril's song, it was an immediate standout when I purchased her "Life For Rent" album. While this song only peaked at #8 back in the spring, it did have a long chart run, which was enough to put Dido into the top 20 for the whole year.
