You can go to any major music website for the full story (Billboard, MTV, etc) The knee injury she obtained on the set of "Outrageous" turned out to be very serious and she needs to stay immobile for 6 weeks and then a rehabilitation period of 8-12 weeks. The entire tour is cancelled and the "Outrageous" video is on hiatus. Terrible, absolutely terrible

That means she will have to wait close to 6 weeks before she can finish completing the ''Outrageous'' video or start shooting a new video for another song. Is ''Outrageous'' gonna be her next single anyway? There has been no add dates given on All Access or Friday Morning Quarterback except for that little MTV article...

Well I think it was being released due to the fact it would be the lead single off the 'Catwoman' O.S.T.
With that obviously out of the picture now since the flick comes out in July, maybe she'll change her mind and release something else?

She could still release the song and not make a video. Every artist usually is supposed to make a music video to help promote the song/album, but it's not absolutely necessary.

Well she can't do anything really considering she's immobile for 6 weeks?!... Her tour may be filled with dancing, but it's one of the most entertaining tours I've ever been too. And i'm sure others who have seen it agree Just my two cents

*maybe the only person on this boards quite glad this happened* I'm not glad it happened, but I'm not devastated that it did either. It's a terrible thing that happened. I wouldn't wish a knee injury on anyone. My cousin had one when she was in college and she's still struggling with its effects more than 15 years later. As far as Britney's career goes, I don't care one way or the other. I like a few of her songs...but I'm not a fan, nor do I hate her.

I didn't think you had wished her to be hurt. I think I know what you meant in that post. We each have those artists that we wish would go away or something of that nature.

Bad news for sure. But I actually hope this pushes back the adds date for Outrageous. A similar thing happened to Sometimes. It was slated for a March release to radio, but because the injury halted the video, the song was pushed back to May. It allowed BOMT to get some extra airplay and I believe helped Sometimes become a very decent hit on pop radio.
Everytime is still a month away from peaking, so let's hold on out the next single for a while.

I do NOT like Britney Spears at all, but I hope she's okay.
