Haven't heard a reason why, but Richard Karn's run on Family Feud ends this season. John O'Hurley will become the 5th host of the show starting next season. There will also be some set changes coinciding with the 30th anniversary of the show.

I haven't watched Family Feud ever since Louie Anderson has been gone.

I heard a rumor (they are called rumors for a reason) that Richard Dawson may come out of retirement and host for an episode in honor of the 30th anniversary.

family feud returned to australian screens (aussie version that is) after a very lengthy layoff with much fanfare this year. It's flopped badly.
Deal or No Deal, on at the same time as FF, is flogging the pants off it. (and yes we had DOND before you americans!)

Last night, someone won £75K on DONO. The last two boxes she had were £75K and £250K, and she turned down the bankers offer of 125K and didn't swap the box.

our top prize is $200,000.... which has only been won once. this year someone won nothing because 'double or nothing' was introduced for all games, he gambled his entire 50 cents and the case had 'nothing' in it

I both like and hate Family Fued.
The show hasn't really changed at all...okay, new hosts, new set, big deal! The game is played exactly the same as it was a long time ago. At least Wheel of Fortune (toss-up puzzles) and The Price is Right (new games) have changed things up a little.
But, I will give credit where credit is due. The formula works. I just wish they would do 2-on-2 games or 4-on-4 games, instead of the regular 5-on-5 all the time.

Then again I do feel bad when they go away with 1p! Today the woman (who was mad btw- knocked down SEVEN times by cars) dealt on £12K and she had £100K in her box. Still £12K is not a bad sum of money to win for 30 minutes work, just unlucky I guess. Also today, one bloke from the crowd got red carded and sent out of the studio!

I really liked Ray Combs when he was host. He was my favorite out of all of the Family Feud hosts. I thought it was pretty sad when he tragically ended his life.

Wow. I used to have this video game of Family Feud that I LOVED. It was soooo fun! Was it on Nintendo? I like playing that one, too. My favorite Fast Money Question was "Name a state you rarely hear about". I wrote down the answers that made the survey and so far, I've come up with ten. That might very well be it, however. Most answers only have single digit points, but Rhode Island, which is apparently the number one answer, had 34. What appears to be the number two answer is Maine, with only nine points.
