I really dislike Katharine. Her voice...I hate how high it gets. Eek.
Sadly, she was the one AOL users ranked as #1 for who they want to win. (Kellie was #2, and I forget the rest.)
She has got to go.

Top 5 performers tonight were as follows, imo: 1) Paris 2) Taylor 3) Chris 4) Lisa 5) Mandisa Ace was horrid. Poor Melissa, she basically bought her own ticket home. And Kellie? I think she's the next American Idol. lol TARANTULAS!

OK, comments tonight:
Ace Young - Pretty much at this point I think the only thing he has going for him is his looks. It was off, he even sounded off the beat in a couple of places. It was nothing special.
Kellie Pickler - I think this was way too safe. She's cute and I like her personality so that's about all she has going for her tonight.
Elliot Yamin - OK, this guy looks like he's in his 40's. It was an ok performance, but so far, not impressed. Another safe performance.
Mandisa - Good performance, not her best, but I think she'll easily make the next round.
Bucky Covington - Vocally it was allright, but he looked so robotic up there!!!
Melissa McGhee - I like her voice. This started weak, but she made it much better as she went on. One of her better performances. She looked hot too!
Lisa Tucker - One of her better performances. She showed a lot of stage presence tonight. Good show! A helluva lot better than when Fantasia whined it 2 years ago!
Kevin Covais - This is the first time I've seen him and didn't cringe. He still sounds a little shakey, but he did sound a little better tonight. And he actually made me laugh too.
Katharine McPhee - A lot stronger than last week, definitely! She did well tonight.
Taylor Hicks - He's more of an entertainer and less of a singer. . OK, but I don't see any American Idol out of him anytime soon.
Paris Bennett - If I compared Paris to Fantasia it would be an insult to Paris. There is nothing redeeming about Fantasia. Paris is cute, she's great, it was a great performance tonight!
Chris Daughtry - It was a good performance, but isn't the point of these theme weeks as a way to step out of your comfort zone? Seemed a little more like a copout IMO.
Who will probably be bottom 3 this week:
Bucky Melissa Kellie
I'm afraid it's gonna be Melissa. I'd rather see Ace or Bucky go.

Who will probably be bottom 3 this week: Bucky Melissa Kellie Kellie in the bottom 3? lol, that's farthest from likely. Kellie is most likely one of the three safest, regardless of performance. Oh yeah, and Bucky was horrible. Thanks for reminding me. (Or maybe not...)

Ace Young - Not his best performance, but I liked it. Kellie Pickler - I like Kellie, but this is definitely my least favorite performance from her. Elliot Yamin - He did all right. Mandisa - Basically what John said. Bucky Covington - I think he did good! Melissa McGhee - She was just okay... BUT I SHOULD BE REVIEWING AYLA RIGHT NOW, NOT MELISSA. Lisa Tucker - My favorite performance from her by far. Kevin Covais - No. Katharine McPhee - She did a good job! Taylor Hicks - I liked him! Paris Bennett - Not her best performance, but still good! Chris Daughtry - BEST PERFORMANCE OF THE NIGHT.

I wasn't surprised Lisa was in the bottom 3, but she definitely should not have been. I might just begin voting.

Does anyone know who originally sings "Because the night"? 10,000 Maniacs. Excellent song. Wrong. Patti Smith orignally recorded "Because the Night" and released it in 1978. 10,000 Maniacs covered the Patti Smith song.

Allright, time to get the comments arollin'
Like in AI3 Barry really helped the singers enhance their performances a lot.
Mendisa - Strong opening, not my favorite vocal from her but it was still great.
Bucky Covington - Worst performance of the night.
Paris Bennett - The first half of the song looked like a little girl playing dress-up, however she did bring it in the 2nd half.
Chris Daughtry - I don't see the appeal. This was not great at all.
Katharine McPhee - She's been consistent for a good while, and she continues. Great job!
Taylor Hicks - He didn't sound so Joe Cockish tonight, however I didn't like the song choice cause it was way too repetitive.
Lisa Tucker - I don't know much much longer she can last. It wasn't her best but far from her worst. Good performance.
Kevin Covais - Probably his best performance vocally. However what was up with that shirt? And what was his hand doing in his pocket the whole time? TOnight was good vocally, but bad stage presence.
Elliot Yamin - Allright performance, but easily forgettable.
Kellie Pickler - Good song choice, she brought it tonight!
Ace Young - Why is this guy getting pimped so much? He was in the bottom 3 last week cause he SUCKS! Unfortunately Ryan's whining will keep him safe this week.
Bottom 3 predictions:
Bucky Lisa Kevin
Going Home:
Bucky

Is it just me, or was tonight highly underwhelming? I don't think the spark was there for anyone, really. The guys seemed to really struggle tonight, except for Elliott. My rankings: Paris Mandisa Katharine Elliott Kellie Lisa Chris Ace Taylor Kevin Bucky Predictions for Bottom 3: Lisa, Bucky, and Kevin Going home: Lisa. I really like Lisa, and this is my least favorite performance from her thus far - although I did like it - but the judges pretty much sealed her fate, I think. I hope Kevin goes home though. Gahh. So annoying.
