I missed some of the key performances (e.g. Usher) but those that I saw weren't overly exceptional. I did enjoy Sheryl Crow & Keith Urban's team-up as well as the tribute to Stevie Wonder from Mary J. Blige, Destiny's Child & Diana Ross. There were little surprises to the awards, lots of 'silenced' foul language, and the show didn't strike me as 'together' as other award shows.

I missed the show in its entirety. But I guess I didn't miss much anyway.

Yeah, the show seemed really bad. It was all...weird. Seemed kinda cheap and stuff, IMO. And the jokes were horrendous. They could've done better.

The Billboard awards are based on album and single sales, no overall quality, so even if the artist recieving the award isn't Grammy material, they can still be Billboard material.

they showed the billboard awards here on wednesday or thursday duing the day. they were pretty ordinary, they were introducing award winners and whatnot all over the place.
I thought Gwen's performance was awful, and Alicia Keys wasn't terribly flash either. And the backing instruments for the rock bit in 'My Immortal' sounded terrible as well. Pretty ordinary I have to say...
