As some of you may know that GSN is in the middle of the 2nd seasons of Celebrity Blackjack and Extreme Dodgeball.
This week on Blackjack: Defending champion Caroline Rhea takes on all 3 Baldwin Brothers. Can the champ take out the boys?
Over on Dodgeball: All I can confirm is that a battle of 1st place teams duke it out. CPA v.s. Bling which could very well be the Championship game about a month or two from now.

OK, here's the lowdown on Extreme Dodgeball this week. If it doesn't fit, move it somewhere.
DELTA FORCE (3-3) V.S. INK INC. (3-3) ATTRACTION:1-2 Powerforce (DF) v.s. Skilled Defense (II) We saw II struggling a bit, but Strati Hovartez and Shawn Hauser took down Paul Green and the rest of DF with their speed and defense, as they were the keys in the match. They won the first round, but Green's Force struck back winning round 2. In the 3rd round a.k.a. Dead Man Walking, Lisa Marshall was DMW (DF) and Ben Toth was DMW (II). The match was close as these teams were evenly matched and Toth summoned the squad to blow out Marshall to win the match, and move to 4-3 with Ink Inc. Delta Force drops to 3-4 with a loss. NOTES:Kari Richardson of Ink Inc got a faceful of Bobby Roe from Delta Force, but eventually was ousted.
REEF SHARKS (2-4) V.S. ARMED RESPONSE ATTRACTION:Women's KO Leader, Amy Wiseman - 12(RS) v.s. Men's KO Leader, David Benedetto - 24 (AR) Wiseman and Benedetto were clawing it out, but Benedetto got the better of the duel. Mark Pontius and Mark Long (RS) used their might to befuddle Benedetto, Kel Watrin and the rest of AR. They got it down to Tanya Fenderbosch (AR) as LMS and made quick work of her. Round 2 was the same story, as Pontius took out a frustrated LMS Nicole Zingale (AR) to win the match. This moves Reef Sharks to 3-4, and Armed Response down to 4-3. NOTES:David Benedetto cost his team the match when he inadvertently allowed RS to regenerate.

MATCH OF THE WEEK:BLING (4-2) V.S. CPA (5-1) ATTRACTION:Speed & Dodge Squad v.s. Reigning Champs This was huge as Portis Hershey (B) and Tobias McKinney (C) layed it on the line, but McKinney ain't backing down. It was a battle to remember, as Frank Frisolli (B) was a killing machine, moving his KO total to 29 in this match. Bling won Round 1, but Round 2 went to CPA...how? Mandy Sommers (C) finally got out of her slump, catching twice, and the simulthrow of Michael Costanza and McKinney showing their sniper ability to win the round. Round 3 was epic as Alvina Carroll (B) and Art Spiegel (C) were DMW. Carroll was heavily protected, while Sommers caught 2 more times to move her catch total to a meager 5. However, Adam Ullberg (B) took CPA to school by unleashing his wrath as they went on to knock out Spiegel. Thus, Bling wins 5 out of last 6 to go 5-2 and take 1st overall, while CPA has dropped 2 of last 4 to go 5-2. NOTES:Bling's only loss in that stretch? Delta Force in Week 4.
M.A.D. (2-4) V.S. BARBELL MAFIA (1-5) ATTRACTION:Well-Rounded Squad v.s. 1-Man Wrecking Crew Not an entertaining match, but the story was all Tyrone Rush (BM), ko-ing and catching to win the match. This sends Barbell Mafia to 2-5, but they won 2 out of last 3. M.A.D. joins Barbell Mafia at 2-5, but they have dropped 5 of last 6. NOTES:Tyrone Rush of Barbell Mafia has 25+ ko's, but the rest of that team combined don't even have half of that total. M.A.D.'s only win in that stretch? I'll get back to you.
Keep an eye out in the next month as playoffs are around the corner. Barbell Mafia needs to win 3 more games than Armed Response and Ink Inc.

BLACKJACK:Caroline Rhea won last week and Warren G bested Sara Rue, Ralphie May and Carnie Wilson won this week. On to Dodgeball:
DODGEBALL RUNS: cpa - lost 3 of last 5 armed response - won 2 of last 3 ink inc - lost 3 of last 4 barbell mafia - won 3 of last 4 bling - won 5 of last 7 reef sharks - won 2 straight after losing 2 straight delta force - hasn't had 2 straight wins or losses this season m.a.d. - danger high voltage! lost 6 of last 7
With 2 weeks left, Barbell Mafia could end up finishing tied for 1st in their division, and CPA could be watching the playoffs at home. M.A.D. needs 2 wins in a row, and hope Delta Force and Reef Sharks both lose the next 2 games. Never assume anything...kinda like my countdown.

ARMED RESPONSE (4-3) V.S. CPA (5-2) ATTRACTION:Wildman's Crew v.s. Befuddled Champs KEY NOTES:Kel Watrin out with injury, in comes Danno Kimmon(Idk) This was not a week to remember for CPA, as they come off a devastating loss to Bling. Benedetto charged up 5 kos to up his total to 30 in this match, but there was more to it than just kos and catches. Nicole Zingale, David Rice and Tanya Fenderbosch held their own with the help of the substitution, and they just laid out an assault to defeat CPA. They are now evened up at 5-3, both with a win against each other this season. It's gonna be good! NOTES:Yellow cards came the way of Michael Costanza of CPA, with the 2nd YC costing his team the match. Watrin of Armed Response looks to be out for the season.

REEF SHARKS (3-4) V.S. M.A.D. (2-5) ATTRACTION:Pontius, Long, Wiseman 1-2-3 punch v.s. Catching machines KEY NOTES:M.A.D. on a 5/6 losing skid, Amy Wiseman still Women's KO Leader with 12+ This match lasted over 20 minutes, and it came down to a close call. Pontius and Long showed some might picking off M.A.D., but Anna Bartsch of the opp. wouldn't let her team down. A miraculous comeback in the 2nd game of the match made it a 1-1 affair. Gary "Spaz" Davis of M.A.D. threw the match-losing ball to Reef Sharks. Sharks move to 4-4 on a 2 game winning run, but M.A.D. drops to 2-6 losing 6 of the last 7 matches. NOTES:Wiseman gets another ko, regeneration, and was DMW in the match decider. She barely avoided the ball.

DELTA FORCE (3-4) V.S. BLING (5-2) ATTRACTION:1-2 Powerhouse of Green and Roe v.s. Suicide Machines KEY NOTES:At this moment, Bling has the best overall record. Delta Force is one of the 2 teams Bling has losen to, the other was M.A.D. Paul Green was not much of a striker in a quick 1st game, but stepped it up big time in the 2nd game to pick off Bling one by one by one by one by one. That said, Bling drops to 5-3 but still leads overall due to beating their 5-3 counterparts. However, 2 of the 3 losses come from DF who now goes to 4-4. NOTES:Loss snaps 3 match winning streak of Bling
INK INC (4-3) V.S. BARBELL MAFIA (2-5) ATTRACTION:Female Warfare v.s. Tyrone Rush KEY NOTES:The ladies of Ink Inc have stepped up their game, while Tyrone Rush is a 1-man wrecking crew If you thought Barbell Mafia was out of the race with an 0-4 record, rethink your gameplan. BM finally got something out of Melissa Coates...regeneration, and she actually helped her squad sweep this match 2-0. Ink Inc drops right back to 4-4, but notably has lost 3 of their last 4. Barbell Mafia however moves up to 3-5, winning 3 of their last 4, and all of a sudden are back in it. NOTES:Tyrone Rush said that if the good teams keep losing, he might get his team to the playoffs

I'll give you a Blackjack update later, first the Dodgeball update.
SUMMARY:Week 9 was critical for Barbell Mafia as they took on the Reef Sharks. BM folded in the end and it was up to Ink Inc losing to keep BM's hopes alive, which didn't happen. II beat Bling and BM was out of the playoff hunt. CPA squeaked by M.A.D. who needed a lot of help, and didn't get it so they are gone from playoff contention. Delta Force shut down Armed Response in the other match. Watrin of AR was still injured.
Paul Green of DF was Player Of The Week.

I missed Blackjack this week, so I'll do Dodgeball right now. Your Dodgeball report is sponsored by Coach Carter, in theaters this January.
SUMMARY:The match of the week was easily Delta Force v.s. Reef Sharks with Bling looking in. Here's how it breaks down. If Delta Force wins, they clinch the Expansion Division title. If Reef Sharks and Bling both win, Bling clinches the division. If Reef Sharks win and Bling loses, Reef Sharks win the division while riding 4 straight wins. More on that later. Armed Response shut down Barbell Mafia 2-0 with the help of Danno Kingman's 6 KOs and he's still filling in for Kel Watrin of AR who apparently is questionable for the playoffs. Bling and M.A.D. were gunning it out to the end, but Gary 'Spaz' Davis led his M.a.d'ers to a 2-0 series sweep over Bling, but it only counts for 2 of their 3 wins this season. That set the stage for DF v.s. RS. Whoever wins this match wins the divison. Mark Long and Mark Pontius tried to take down Paul Green and Bobby Roe with their muscles, but the Force was not to be stopped by anybody. Roe looks like to be the League champion in Ko's with an incredible 37, 22 more than the top woman ko'er Amy Wiseman of Reef Sharks. Thus, Force wins the division thanks to winning 2 v.s. Bling. CPA and Ink Inc. ended up in a 22 minute brawl for the Classic crown. If Ink Inc. wins, Armed Response wins the division. Cpa wins, they take the division. Keepin it short with 2 yellow cards, wall bouncing, 2 suicidal walks, middle fingers, hat tricks and quickness. CPA won thanks to a stunning ko by easily-tempered, 3-time yellow card getter Michael Costanza winning the match.

i should fill you in on what happened.
In the Blackjack circuit, the ten finalists were Jason Alexander, Jamie Lynn Discala, Lance Bass, Coolio, Shannon Elizabeth, Guiliana DePandi, John Henson, Caroline Rhea, Warren G and Kelli Williams. Out of the 10, the four that made it all the way were Shannon's replacement Jeff Probst, Jason Alexander, Kelli Williams and Lance Bass. In the end, Jason won it all by taking home $300K+ for his charity.
Over on Dodgeball, in the quarterfinals it was Ink Inc. v.s. Armed Response and Bling v.s. Reef Sharks. II and Bling lost. The semifinals had Reef Sharks v.s. Delta Force(who won) and Armed Response(who won) battle CPA. Finally, Armed Response defeated Delta Force in the championship match with the MVP of the season going to Kel Watrin of AR who had 20 playoff kos.
