BTW, there's a 99.9% chance that all these geezerly songs I NH I would agree with, since 60s and 70s le meh. jajajajaja

Oh and another thing...
125. Lesley Gore, "It's My Party" (1964)
I remember this song now, and Seb. I completely agree with you on this one. It sucks BADLY.

110. John Mayer, "Waiting On The World To Change" (2006) Liberal propaganda.
109. Aly & A. J., "Rush" (2005) Sugary girl-group silliness.
108. Rolling Stones, "Waiting On A Friend" (1981) One of the most acclaimed bands of all time, and rightfully so....but this is one record of theirs I can't stand. It bores me to death.
107. Phil Phillips, "Sea Of Love" (1960) I hate to say it, but this crosses the line for me. This is the point where it gets too geezerly for my taste.
106. Culture Club, "Karma Chameleon" (1983) What a ridiculous title. What a ridiculous song.
105. Tiffany, "I Think We're Alone Now" (1987) As David J once said, this song is like taking a bath in Velveeta. A cheesy 80's remake of a 60's classic pop record.
104. The Moody Blues, "Your Wildest Dreams" (1986) Another largely successful 70's rock band, who came out with one song that sucked.
103. Jermaine Stewart, "We Don't Have To Take Our Clothes Off" (1986) It was meant to be an anti-AIDS anthem, but the lyrics sound so absurd. The Queens From Queens did it much better with "Let's Talk." (Ironically, Stewart died of AIDS in 1997.)
102. Partners In Kryme, "Turtle Power" (1990) It seems like those turtles didn't give Partners In Kryme the power to have another hit.
101. Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, "Tha Crossroads" (1995) Once again, this is one of only a handful of urban songs that I don't like. I don't know whether it was the overplay, or the fact that it drags so badly, but there's something about this song that I find quite irritating.

Is the Phil Phillips song the same one that the Honeydrippers covered? If so, I like the remake... not familiar with the original.
I like all the others, especially Culture Club, Tiffany, Jermaine Stewart and Bone Thugs-N-Harmony.

106. Culture Club, "Karma Chameleon" (1982) - SUPER agreed! Hate this song. But I think it was 1984, lol. It was 1983. I've corrected it. 101. Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, "Tha Crossroads" (1995) - awww, i like this song. but this was 1996. FLOP YEAR PERSON I've double-checked it. According to ROTN, the album off which "Tha Crossroads" is taken was released in July 1995. You're right that it didn't become a hit until 1996, though. I'm not going to change this one.

100. John Mellencamp, "R. O. C. K. In The U. S. A." (1986)I think I know how to spell the word "rock", if you don't mind. It's rather simple. 99. Lionel Richie, "Dancing On The Ceiling" (1986)Singing a song about something that's physically impossible to do. Does it get any more stupid than that?98. Bruce Hornsby And The Range, "The Way It Is" (1986)One of the rare occasions where I think the remake is far better than the original. 2Pac's version, though merely a sample, was excellent. But I can't stand this one.97. Soluna, "For All Time" (2002)Another AC borefest.96. Billy Vera, "At This Moment" (1986)Yet another AC song that puts me off to sleep.95. USA For Africa, "We Are The World" (1985)We are the world, we are the children, we are the ones who make your ears bleed, so I wouldn't donate a cent to the Ethiopian famine! (Yeah, that was tasteless. I know. I'm sorry.94. Aretha Franklin, "R. E. S. P. E. C. T." (1967)Don't teach me how to spell! God! You must think I'm a blithering idiot!93. Michael Bolton, "How Can We Be Lovers" (1990)That's a good question, and I don't have the answer. I'm afraid no one wants to be Michael Bolton's lover, even in the most dire of circumstances.92. The Clash, "Rock The Casbah" (1982)I'm not quite sure what it is, but something about this record just annoys the hell out of me.91. Bette Midler, "From A Distance" (1990)Sorry about keeping the comments so simple for a third time, but this is yet another AC borefest. I can't be any more eloquent than that, and I'm not even going to try.

The only one I agree with (kinda) is "At This Moment"... no wonder it's faded into obscurity. Even though it did hit #1. The others are all good though. Oh, and the Michael Bolton song was from 1990.

90. Billy Joel, "River Of Dreams" (1993) One of the few songs of his that I don't like.
89. Johnny Nash, "I Can See Clearly Now" (1972) This one really gets on my nerves whenever I hear it.
88. Eric Clapton, "Tears In Heaven" (1992) Very depressing song.
87. Chris DeBurgh, "Lady In Red" (1987) Another prime example of an AC borefest.
86. Barry White, "Practice What You Preach" (1995) The lyrics to this song are so lame. Even drunk on a bet, I could write something better!
85. Narcotic Thurst, "I Like It" (2004) "I hate the treadmill every day." Well, I've got news for you. All of us do! And playing it non-stop on Z-100 isn't going to get you - or me - to learn to like the treadmill.
84. Bobby Vinton, "Blue Velvet" (1960) Bad geezerly pop.
83. Cher, "Shoop Shoop (It's In His Kiss)" (1989) A classic pop song, totally ruined. Betty Everett's version is a thousand times better.
82. Journey, "Don't Stop Believin'" (1982) Even sadder than "Tears In Heaven", if that's possible.
81. Selena, "Dreaming Of You" (1995) Once again, I usually frown on speaking ill of the dead, but every song of hers, well, at least every one that crossed over to pop, was simply horrendous. In a strange sense, I'm kind of glad we didn't have to hear from her anymore.

I completely disagree on "River of Dreams", "Tears In Heaven", "The Lady In Red", "The Shoop Shoop Song", "Don't Stop Believin'" and "Dreaming Of You"... all 6 of those are excellent songs. I MUCH prefer the Jimmy Cliff remake of #89. I know I've heard the Narcotic Thrust song, but it wasn't that memorable anyway Don't know the other two... I don't mind Barry White usually though. I'll trust your judgement on Bobby Vinton though
