The Fugees, who hail from New York City, consists of Lauryn Hill, Wyclef Jean, and Pras Michel. Originally started by Lauryn & Pras, Pras' cousin Wyclef joined the group later on. Their first album, Blunted On Reality, was released in 1993, but generated little notice...and is even considered by the group to be "not their best effort. Their second album, The Score, rocketed The Fugees to stardom on the strength of Killing Me Softly, a remake of the Roberta Flack 70s classic. In 1997, the trio took time off so each member could record a solo album. However, due to squabbles between various members, they haven't yet reunited to record The Score's follow-up. However, rumors began surfacing in 2004 that the trio had buried the hatchet and are in the beginning stages of planning the new album.
1- Killing Me Softly 2- No Woman, No Cry 3- Ready Or Not 4- Fu-Gee-La 5- Vocab 6- Nappy Heads

The one I saw on VH1 six years ago - I think it was "Killing Me Softly", so I voted for that

KMS is pretty good, but I always loved "Ready Or Not"...I always thought that song was really underrated. What an amazing recording, and the Enya sampling sounded awesome.
