It seems that all this guy is doing lately is getting collaboration with some people to get hits... can't this guy get a hit on his own anymore? Christina, Mase.. who's next? In all honesty i think that there needs to be a cutback on all these collaborations, because there is too many of them.

I agree. His biggest hits have been collaborations, for the most part:
Dilemma [f. Kelly Rowland] - #1[5] Shake Ya Tailfeather [w. P Diddy and Murphy Lee] - #1[3] Ride Wit Me [f. City Spud] - #3 My Place [f. Jaheim] Tilt Ya Head Back [f. Christina Aguilera] - Bound to be a hit
The only acception was "Hot In Herre" which could even be considered novelty...
He definately needs to do some more solo stuff

I don't so much mind collaborations. I know with hip-hop songs that you want to be commercial and popular, there has to be some measure of singing involved. Most rappers can't sing (which is why they rap). Therefore, you've got to get a singer to be on the track with you to sing the hook or whatever else.
As far as other rappers being on the track, that's not a problem for me either. Often another person being on the track can offer a new perspective to the song or provide something added.
