This is less tough - GHV2 gets my vote.

Although GHV2 contains the hits, it's no more than a very inconsistent album. Ray Of Light gets my pick. It's the best album she's recorded thus far.

Out of those I only have "Ray of Light", so it gets my vote.

Out of these choices, I picked "Music," but this list really made me realize how much more I like Madonna's older material when compared to her more recent efforts! If she puts out another dud like "American Life," she is going to be finished for good on U.S. mainstream pop. In fact, she may already have ruined any chance to have another radio hit. Her last three singles all failed to make the Billboard Hot 100 - even though they were commercially released, too! When "Hollywood" missed the Hot 100 in 2003, it was her first miss since "Burning Up" in 1983!!! After "Hollywood," she followed up with "Nothing Fails," which did indeed fail to chart. Then, just to show she still couldn't pull a hit out of that album, they released "Love Profusion." Even though it was used in a commercial, it still couldn't get onto the Hot 100. Very depressing...

I think she takes herself a little too seriously. People don't want to hear her strumming a guitar. People want her to bring out the dancer in all of us. She needs to make a dance album, if anything.
