Although I've left it on for the past couple days, I haven't used my computer since Friday evening...at which point I had just run CleanUp. Tonight, I tried to open Firefox and it wouldn't open. Is there anything I can do to fix this. I have Netscape & IE, so I'm not "browserless" if I can't use it...but I do prefer Firefox over the other two.

Click Start / Run / Type in "taskmgr" / Click "OK"
Go to the "Processes" tab... look to see if you can find "firefox.exe" listed... if it's there click on it, then click "End Task"... if there are multiple firefox.exe's running end all of them.
Then, try starting Firefox in safe mode... there should be an option for it in your start menu...
If Firefox works in safe mode, close it down... wait a minute or two... then, try opening it as you normally would...
If that doesn't work, restart your computer and see if that fixes the problem...

Thanks for the help, Drew! ;D
I was able to open Firefox in safe mode. But after waiting to try it normally, it still wouldn't open. So I restarted the computer and that did the trick. It opened!
However, after going in to the Processes tab, I now have a new question... I saw that I have 39 processes running & 7 of them are called "svchost.exe" Is it normal to have that many processes running...and seven of them being the same thing? If I can make my computer run more efficiently by cutting down on the number of processes I have running, I'd like to be able to do that.
