I've been looking and have found weird advices not completely satisfactory. I thought that with Vista, I could do the same as wih windows 98, that the D drive was used to store important files of the computer to restauration and stuff and just let it be there. But yesterday, a message popped up saying I was running out of space on D!! I tried to free space deleting the old rerstoration points, but nothing seems to be erased and i am still needing space available in case it fills up agan. What is getting stored there that its size is going up? I have tons of GB's available on C, so, is there a way I can take some space from there and add it to D? help please! EDIT - It seems that when ii burned a dvd from an avi file, the temporary files were placed on D, so i deleted them and it's ok now. Checking the contents of D, I saw stuff from HP, and recovery stuff, so i guess it's fine now... right?

if you ever format your computer, try to make larger partitions on your drives, you can add the partition and set the sizes that you want in the step by step installation of Windows (should be the same as it was for XP)
