Yes, my laptop - which is barely 2 weeks old - already has a virus. And I am sooooo pissed.
Basically, when I turned it on today, I plugged in my iPod, and on iTunes a few of the tracks showed up as missing....only they were still in the original folders. It was my entire Cheyenne Kimball CD, Danity Kane's "Ride For You", and Monica's "Everytime Tha Beat Drop". When I tried clicking the songs to make them work, I would get this error where it said "unreadable or corrupted" or something like that.
I turned off the laptop and when I got on just now, it was like rebooting. Then I got this blue screen. I turned it off (had to hold down the power button) and turned it back on and the same screen came back up:
STOP: c000007b {Bad Image} The application or DLL \??\C:WINDOWS\system32\USER32.dll is not a valid windows image. Please check this against your installation diskette.
I'm soooo upset.
How do I get rid of this? Do I have to reboot it and end it with nothing?
Blah. HELP ME, PLEASE!

Do you have XP or Vista?
Try starting up in Safe Mode (keep pressing F8 after you turn your computer on until you see the boot menu, then select Safe Mode)... If you're not able to get into Windows in Safe Mode, you'll have to insert your install CD/DVD and use the recovery console.

I just rebooted the whole thing. So I lost my music files, but it's fine, lol, I'll just re-do them.
Do you have any idea where this could have come from?
Btw, I have XP.
