OK so I have this Craig MP3 player and it's not letting me add songs to it (I click the E:Removable disk to see what songs I have on there and then click My Music to start moving songs to the Removable Disk to be able to listen to the songs on my player) but every time I'm trying to do this, I get an error saying something about I/O error and Delayed Memory Write.
HELP if you can.

Start > My Computer > View System Information > Hardware > Device Manager
then look for the USB connection with a symbol like an exclamation mark or something, double-click on it, then do what it says
(make sure the MP3 player is plugged in while doing all of this)

OK, I checked and it says my USB driver is working fine, yet I can't transfer any songs to my mp3 player

The hard drive on your mp3 player may be on its way out; or it may just have bad sectors or a corrupt file table; or, the problem could be with your computer and not with your mp3 player at all.
Some things to try...
(*) Try transferring only one song at a time. If your player's hard drive has bad sectors, copying files one at a time has a better chance of success than copying multiple files at once.
(*) If you have multiple USB slots to plug into, try plugging your player into another slot besides the one you normally use.
(*) Try to copy files to your player from another computer besides the one you're currently using... see if that makes a difference. It's possible that your computer might be the problem and not the player itself. If your player works fine with another computer, then most likely the problem is with your computer and not with your mp3 player. Have you received "I/O" and "Delayed Memory Write" errors while your mp3 player was not plugged into your computer?
(*) It could also be a drivers/software issue... Did your mp3 player come with a CD or any software? If it did, uninstall whatever software your player came with, restart your computer, and then re-install it.
(*) You may want to try doing a disk repair on your player's hard drive as well. (If there are disk errors and you choose to fix them, there is a slight chance you could lose some or all of the songs on your player.) Go to "My computer" (or just "Computer" in Vista). If your mp3 player is listed, right click on it... Click "Properties" / Select the "Tools" tab / Under "Error-checking", click "Check Now".

1. I did that when I first got it, it worked just fine. 2. I think I have one in the back. 3. Yes, it has happened. 4. Yes, it came with a CD. I try to follow instructions but it says something about 'Not operational with Dos/Windows. 5. Disk Repair? OK.
