Hey guys, I added some new javascript code to my website earlier this week but it doesn't work at all in IE and most of my visitors are IE users. There's something about !doctypes that I have to include but I don't know what it is. Does anyone know anything about that? My site is www.themaxonline.net

I did find an alternate script instead of what I used that, hopefully doesn't require me to use !doctype but I will read up on it because apparantly most sites should be using it as webpage making continues to advance.

I don't know which one to use. When I insert the doctype, it screws up all my div measurements in Firefox and in IE, nothing at all.

you should use HTML 4 loose that is, unless the script/stylesheet you're using specifically requires XHTML... then, use XHTML Transitional
