So i got some new fonts today, and Word won't show any of them, so I can't use them and I'm really annoyed and angry at this! Anyone know what I should do?

Aren't you supposed to have a copy of the fonts inside the Fonts folder inside the Windows folder? Well, I am not sure does this work with XP...

All of my fonts are in the c:\windows\fonts\ folder, which from what I know is where they should be.
I'm running Windows ME, and I've been having this problem for a while

Windows ME has tons of problems. are you sure that you have the actual font files (not a zip file of anything) copied into your font directory.

I had a similar (but temporary) problem several times when d/l'ing fonts online. Sometimes you have to restart your computer after loading fonts into the Fonts folder. However, I'm assuming you've already restarted your computer, so that probably isn't much help.
You may also try hitting File > Install New Fonts... in your fonts folder. Sometimes fonts don't install automatically once their put inside the Fonts folder.
Select the fonts you want to install and hit OK.
Hopefully that works for you.

I've seen this everywhere I go for help, and I don't have that option. When I click file, I just have "new", "create shortcut", "delete", "rename", "properties", and "close."
