I'm not sure how big this song was across Canada back in the mid-80's when it was released but since she was from Edmonton and I lived there at the time pop radio played it plenty of times. She was also Wayne Gretzky's girlfriend at the time. I like it, check it out below. Maybe Bill remembers? s35.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=30A4015YFB37U0RFAS2OOI0EDF

Doesn't ring any bells with me... I'll have to dig a bit to see if I can find out anything.

Yes... this was in the movie "St. Elmo's Fire" and on the soundtrack... I didn't know anything about Vikki (and that's how the CD spells it) or even know if this was released as a single in the USA, but it's a pretty good song. I never heard anything else from her at all!

The only singles I'm aware of that were released from St. Elmo's Fire were "St. Elmo's Fire (Man In Motion)" by John Parr and the love theme by David Foster. I did hear that album at the time of release but can't remember the Vikki Moss song. In 1983, she recorded a duet with another Canadian, Tim Feehan, from his Carmelita album called "Never Say Die" that was an AC hit, getting to #23 on RPM's AC chart - see here (copy the entire link, don't click on it) www.collectionscanada.ca/rpm/028020-119.01-e.php? uid=nlc008388.6292&uidc=FileNumber&view=standard&queryString=kwq%3Dvickie%2Bmoss%26kwf%3DTRUE%26maxRslts%3D500
