yeah i know, maybe i shouldn't make a topic like this but what the hell... here are what i currently consider the top 10 recurrents of mine.
1. Boney M - Rasputin
the song hit it huge over in Europe (hitting the top ten in September 78 over in the U.K.). This song still sounds AMAZING to me after all these years of hearing it
2. Michael Jackson - Billie Jean
At the height of his popularity, MJ managed to hit it huge with this song and dominated the 80's with one of the most influential albums of all-time, this song is simply MJ at his best
3. Led Zeppelin - Staiway To Heaven
from the 1971 album "IV" came one of the most influential songs in my lifetime, showed a passion lyrically and vocally as i've heard, this is one of, if not the best songs of all-time
4. The Eagles - Hotel California
from the 1976 album of the same name, "Hotel California" is still one of those songs i absolutely love today, The Eagles are still one of the most popular bands in the world, and this is amongst their best songs.
5. The Animals - House Of the Rising Sun
from 1966, this song remains one of the most chilling songs i can still hear and enjoy, the band isn't widely known as some of their counterparts of the same era, but this song had a phenomenal success.
6. Badfinger - Baby Blue
from 1971, this song is another one of those tunes not from my era that is an absolute gem, for some reason, i think i came around 10 years too late, when music was absolutely amazing.
7. Def Leppard - Love Bites
from the 1987 album "Hysteria", this is probably one of the newest songs you'll find on this list, Def Leppard has gone through some adversity through the years, but still remain one of the most relevant bands for me all these years later
8. John Cougar Mellancamp - Hurt So Good
from the 1982 release "American Fool", this song still makes me wanna get up and dance to it, it still holds the magic that makes the music of today sound outdated immediately
9. The Archies - Sugar, Sugar
another hit from the 60's, The Archies were another of the bands that got lost in the shuffle and had only one big hit and then dissapeared... the band was created out of a comic book, but still this was/is such a fun song, how can you not like it now?
10. Guns 'N' Roses - November Rain
from the 1991 release "Use Your Illusion I" the song that many fans will critique as either their best or second best effort (with Sweet Child O' Mine) this song is still a powerful, power ballad and sounds still awesome after all those years released.
well there you have it, my list for this time, i'm pretty bored, you guys can debate all you want, i made this list for fun
