A #2 hit in the UK from 1981, and it also charted in the US, but I don't know where it peaked. I like it a lot, but my favorite from her is "You Keep Me Hangin' On".

i prefer the cover versions by both Bloodhound Gang and Len personally. Her version is decent enough, but i'm not a big fan of Kim.

This was odd sounding for 1982 - not quite new wave enough to cut it with alt-rock crowds - I believe it got to about #24 on Billboard's Hot 100.

I've never heard the original version of this song. I know it's been remade, like, a million times, though. I know Len remade it...and No Secrets. Someone else remade it in the mid-90s as well, because it was in the movie, Clueless, but I don't remember who the group was.

Actually, it peaked at #25 for FOUR consecutive weeks in 1982, a full year after its peak in the U.K. Although it didn't climb high in the chart, it did have longevity and ended up as the #91 hit of the year. I was a HUGE Kim Wilde fan. The last U.S. release I recall from her was her 1993 remake of Yvonne Eliman's "If I Can't Have You." It was really good and did all right in the clubs, but ... as you might guess ... it tanked at U.S. radio.
