The follow-up to "Stay The Same", ILYCTL peaked @ #28 in 1999. I liked this a lot when it was out and still do today.

Why'd this have to fail? This is so much better than Stay the Same.

The follow-up to "Stay The Same", ILYCTL peaked @ #28 in 1999. I liked this a lot when it was out and still do today. On the U.S. Billboard Hot 100, this delightful ditty didn't even crack top 40. They waited so damn long to release the official single that airplay already had peaked. Since the Hot 100 combines sales and airplay data, ILYCTL was left to debut fairly high (#55 or so), but then it had nowhere to go but down. I still scratch my head over the marketing genius that planned this one. At any rate, I actually preferred this single to "Stay the Same," although I liked both songs quite a bit.
