A #38 in 1992. I'm pretty sure Baz Luhrmann sampled this in "Everybody's Free (To Wear Sunscreen)" (the singing parts, listen to the album version.) I like it, but I don't want to hear it too often.

I believe it is the same song sampled, just a different version that was featured in Luhrmann's 1996 movie Romeo & Juliet with Leo Decaprio.
This is one of my favourite dance records of the 90's.

the only thing i heard from this song was the mash-up song that was mixed with Alice Deejay's "Better Off Alone"

Rozalla's website is worth checking out if you like her music. She's had various other strong songs besides Everybody's Free To Feel Good. Plus you can buy some of her albums at a CD store and quite cheap too. www.rozalla.comOh, and the version used by Baz Luhrmann was in fact a cover version of 'Everybody's Free', recorded by Quindon Tarver.

It's an all right song, but it's one of my least favorite dance songs of the early 90s. I didn't find it as catchy or fun as some of the other big hits of the time.
