A classic pop/dance hit from 1988 from a dance troupe that was still making club hits well into the late 90's - the sample of the voice saying 'pure energy' is Leonard Nimoy as Spock from "Star Trek".

Great 80s track. I liked this at the time it was out. I had no idea that the "Pure Energy" voice was Leonard Nimoy's though. I guess you really DO learn something new every day...

You know a band is a one-hit wonder, when their only other minor hit "Think" refers back to their big hit!
I remember watching Star trek one day and doing a double take because Spock says "Pure Energy."

I remember watching Star trek one day and doing a double take because Spock says "Pure Energy." Surprisingly enough... that was their third hit! Their second was "Walking Away", which was a #6 CHR/Pop hit.
